There are a couple comments in here on Beats and some other headphones. I tell my used to tell my students all the time how awful sounding they were. I told them I could buy a pair of headphones from 5 Below (for those that don't know, it's like a souped-up $ store). I brought in 3 pairs and the general consensus was that they sounded better, but not enough bass.....
Since you're planning to release a vid on your headphone picks at different price points, would you be doing one on amps and/or dacs too? And what are the pros and cons of going for amp/dac combos compared to buying stand-alone?
I never able to hear sound stage with headphones. I'm audiophile i love headphones but to me all sound like headphones on your head , yes i hear sound than seems inside my head and sounds than seems outside my head but still very close to my ears ,like max 5 centimeters away , but i never heard that type of real speakers soundstage
Need advice for next step? I have numerous headphones and amps, but nothing comes close to my speaker setup, there is no headphone, which does good sub bass(20Hz-80Hz) . Now I cannot use any of my headphones without heavy EQ: Soundmagic E10, Superlux HD-668B, Tin Hifi P1, Massdrop 58X, Denon AH-D750, Koss Plug, Koss KSC35, Sony WH-1000Xm3 and on goes the list.
Your headphone list is noob, why don't you sell all that crap and buy some from the higher end? You either have lots of shit or just 1 but near perfect, thats the mindset.

I agree that the M-50X sucks (at that price point) it's not a good headphone, I have tried it, my Roommate has it, however, I own the original M50 and they dont sound anything like the new M50X, they are not a great headphone but for that price (the original M50) is not bad, its a fun headphone and that's not the only headphone I have, I have several headphones, my favorite once HD 800S, again when people compare the HD 800 to the S, it bugs me to, their 2 very different headphones, My brother has the original a to HD 800 I've tried them several times, and I own the 1800 S. There's no perfect headphone there some things that I enjoy more one a $350 headphone for fun, compared to the $1600 one, I listen to a wide range of genres in music therefore I feel a need different headphones for different genres, The main thing I listen to is instrumental therefore the HD 800s are great for that, Also I think he should point out that amplifiers and DACs make a big difference I don't think enough people point that out, everybody just think that by headphone is plug and play, not really not an audio file standard. It's nice when reviewers point out the different dacks and amps that they used, and how different they make those headphone sound. It might seem like too much to take but it was really sad to hear people complain about a headphone that is not being driven or power properly. If nobody reads this I'm fine, and if you did and you don't understand what I'm talking because you're new to this, I apologize..... .. Im not one to blow smoke up asses, but I appreciate it cuz... it's a lot to wade through being new to the community. This definitely helped.
You could do tutorials, lessons and everything in between about headphones, speakers and sound in general.
I didn't understand the extension part clearly.. anybody?
I'm getting motion sickness.
what about honk? I know shouty is too much treble, but honk?
Perfect video.
The camera shake is messing with me
Since you're planning to release a vid on your headphone picks at different price points, would you be doing one on amps and/or dacs too? And what are the pros and cons of going for amp/dac combos compared to buying stand-alone?
Wish he’d start doing speaker reviews
There’s about a dozen in the works
I never able to hear sound stage with headphones. I'm audiophile i love headphones but to me all sound like headphones on your head , yes i hear sound than seems inside my head and sounds than seems outside my head but still very close to my ears ,like max 5 centimeters away , but i never heard that type of real speakers soundstage

Great video!!!
What do you think about the creative labs g6?
Thanks
Need advice for next step? I have numerous headphones and amps, but nothing comes close to my speaker setup, there is no headphone, which does good sub bass(20Hz-80Hz) . Now I cannot use any of my headphones without heavy EQ: Soundmagic E10, Superlux HD-668B, Tin Hifi P1, Massdrop 58X, Denon AH-D750, Koss Plug, Koss KSC35, Sony WH-1000Xm3 and on goes the list.
There’s actually some headphones that extend to 4hz.
@@DMS3TV but 4hz u can't hear & guy says good job at 20-80hz, whatever
Your headphone list is noob, why don't you sell all that crap and buy some from the higher end? You either have lots of shit or just 1 but near perfect, thats the mindset.
Pakalini if it can extend to 4hz it can certainly extend through 20-80hz.
DMS...Did you use LTT RED camera? Did you shoot some scenes for Linus.📹
"m50x are bad"
then what do i buy for good closed back headphones (for a laptop with maybe an audioquest dac in the future)
M40x or DT 770
@@jaxmanf are you sure an audioquest dragonfly can amplify a DT 770?
Plus I already own my m50s and don't mind them
www.rtings.com/headphones/tools/compare/audio-technica-ath-m50x-vs-beyerdynamic-dt-770-pro/295/440 m50x looks the same on paper, I have no idea why they hate on m50x and still recommend DT 770?!
really great soundstage , great detail too!
Personal preference personal preference personal preference
And also personal preference personal preference personal preference personal preference personal preference personal preference personal preference
The a hole in this vid even crap shoots himself saying this 5:30
They're incredibly good for budget and I am sure many famous songs were monitored ON m50s,
They're incredibly good hes just an opinionated a hole about it
Like what you like, they're good for budget range, and many great sound engineers used them for many famous songs, I dont understand why people are azz holes to others about simply liking a pair of cans
I had m50s for 6 years and put them down after I got the sony XM4s
They're great for people getting into good audio cause they're such a small v shape sound that its flat but had a fun kick to it, I hate the overly mid bass from the m40s and I also bought the m50xbt but dont use them lol
They good, just this goon is a goon
I cant respect dms for berating others for what they like
What then is tonality?
If nobody reads this I'm fine, and if you did and you don't understand what I'm talking because you're new to this, I apologize.....
.. If you are a to be a true audiophile you'll get it eventually....lol
Do I need a DAC with my iMac Pro ? IO am listening to FLAC and Alac witha Darkvoice Amp on 6XX.
