  • Looking for a great hiking trail near Sacramento? Homestead to Blue Ridge Loop is a 5.1 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Winters, California that features a lake and is rated as difficult. It's about an hour driving distance from Downtown Sacramento. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round. After heavy rains, portions of the trail near the stream may be closed. Beautiful hike, with views of Sacramento Valley, Lake Berryessa, and wildflowers along the way.

    I love to explore California purely for it's landscape - one day I'll be 40 in 4yrs so it's something to aim for as a goal to explore every inch especially Monterey Bay would be my number one spot

      From the east bay originally, Sacramento is definitely nice. We need a solution for our homeless situation though. The trash all around beautiful spots pisses me off

      It's all business brother, did you see the "budget to help the homeless?"
      This year in California is over 3 billion dollars state wide. But since the money isn't tracked it's utilized by *"coordinators" that pay themselves OVER $250,000 EACH!* ITS ALL A SCAM BY CALIFORNIA'S POLITICIANS.

      Hi Carolyn, yeah from what I heard this did catch on fire in 2020. :( Only good thing about that is the views would be easier to view with less shrubbery. Thanks for watching!

    Nice video, but grounding isn't a thing. You should probably put on shoes to not accidentally step on glass or something.

    • @sacliving
      @sacliving  3 года назад

      I put on my shoes during most of the trail but sometimes I like to hike barefoot where its flat. :)

    • @sacliving
      @sacliving  2 года назад

      Hi Johnny B. hmm thats a good question. Depending on which side you go up but if you go up (go right) like how we did in this video it was about 25 minute hike to the top.
