Cheers Dan and that looked like a belting afternoon and some of those pubs reminded me of Tolkien, some great session beers, the NEIPA in live video looked 10x better than the pic 👍 have a great Christmas Dan if you don't post another video this year and all the best 🍻🍻

Delighted to see some of my old favourite pubs from years gone by. Many would agree with you that beer in the wonderful Turf Tavern has tragically gone downhill. It wasn't always thus. Unfortunately, they no longer sell the popular Hook Norton ales. I am surprised you walked straight past the Kings Arms .
Great to see that, Oxford was stuffed with good pubs but (as could probably be seen towards the end) I could not do them all. The Turf is a cracking spot and I’d hoped for Old Hooky but a generic non-labelled bitter is what they had. Kings I’ve been too but remembered it heavy on Youngs and I try to do local beer as much as possible. Hope it was a good watch 🍻
Good thing about going to the pub vids it gives u a great insight of a town/city...Oxford seems a belter and could be in my sights for the future. Your beer choice was a great mix as well. Thoroughly enjoyed watching that with just a mug of tea ( not beer) sometimes it's all u need...top vid Dan🍺👏👏
I think a cup of tea would have done me some good halfway round 😂. There are a number of London Brewery pubs in the prime spots but some great Freehouses with a wide selection of beers, especially the Lamb & Flag. Everywhere really busy which was great to see - worth a visit Slurpy 🍻
Some great spots on this lads Christmas tour! Had you been to any of these pubs before or did you research some traditional places to go before you set off? Some great vibes!!
I’ve been to Oxford but not for a full pub tour. I’ll definitely spend a couple of hours on Maps and Untappd finding good candidates. If there’s no good beer they don’t make the cut (already had 3 beers by The White Rabbit 😅). It was tricky travelling on the train but a great day out 🍻
