- This trailer idea has been in the back of my head for 2 years and its finally here. The concept is what if they made the Avengers but used 2000s Marvel characters. The team consist of Spider-Man, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Hulk & Wolverine, with additional team members like The Punisher & Blade. The main villain is MODOK & AIM, who are creating super soldiers from Extremis. I feel this type of story is perfect for the early 2000s as it takes out of this world villains and heroes but brings them to a realistic level. I hope you enjoy!

This is the literal movie I wanted as kid, hulk and spiderman together. The early 2000's mcu
And more importantly, we wouldn't have to wait so long for the best parts of the MCU. Like how we have to wait years for Avengers 5 and 6.
Well technically in the Raimi Spiderman novel, Hulk and Wolverine (?) are mentioned there so you could say that the Ang Lee Hulk film and maybe the FoX-Men trilogy is kinda canon to the Raimi verse?
Fun fact, bruce banner and Reed Richards was mentioned in the spider-man 2002 novelization.

The fact that "gamma accidents, radioactive bug bites and assorted mutants weren't enough" was actually part of a deleted scene from Iron Man suggests that Fiege was indeed thinking of canonizing Raimi's Spider-Man, X-Men, Punisher, Hulk, Ghost Rider, Blade and Daredevil. Then the Spider-Man reboot happened.
Can you imagine for a second, all these groups of characters along with the fantastic four, guardians of the galaxy, and the defenders fighting Thanos and his army in Endgame? It would have been insane!
I wouldn’t have complained at all if Tobey was MCU Spiderman, he would be the main character, not Tony... maybe that means Peter would have snapped at the end and sacrifice himself... ok that’s depressing to even think of

Interestingly, there were plans to have these movies take place in the same universe before the MCU.
General Hager from "Rise of the Silver Surfer" was originally intended to be Nick Fury. Though Fury and SHIELD appeared in the 2005 "Fantastic Four" video game.
Stryker had a file on Franklin Richards in "X2".
Hugh Jackman would have cameo'd in "Spider-Man" as Wolverine. The Punisher may have cameo'd in "Spider-Man 2".
Fox had plans to make an X-Men/Fantastic Four/Daredevil crossover movie. And Black Panther was considered to appear in a Fantastic Four sequel, played by Djimon Hounsou.
This literally could've been in the MCU if everything since X-Men and blade were connected imagine how it would look like
in another reality 😔

Marvel heroes like Andrew Garfield's Spidey, 2015 Fantastic Four, 2010s X-men, Netflix Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Punisher, the Defenders, Deadpool, etc. Every Marvel hero that appeared in the 2010s but weren't in the MCU.

When I was little, I used to watch a lot of the early 2000s Marvel films before the MCU was even a thing, and funnily enough I thought back then that Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and Ben Attleck’s Daredevil were apart of the same universe. So this trailer brought back some memories, thx for that 😄

@@emrickdelorme400 yeah some weren’t great like Ghost Rider and Daredevil but Hulk, Spider-Man 1 & 2, Blade 1 & 2, The Punisher, and X-Men 1 & 2 were fantastic. The 1st Fantastic Four had a lot of problems and I haven’t seen the 2nd one since I was 5, so I dunno about that one. The problem with some of these movies though is they generally have too much exposition. In Fantastic Four it took an hour and 20 some odd minutes before they fought Doctor Doom as a United front. Before that they were fighting each other and trying to figure out how to cure they’re powers. Daredevil and Ghost Rider 1 & 2 were plagued with bad casting and bad writing. Fantastic Four just had bad writing. Hulk (2003) still to this day has the most accurate depiction of hulk to date, but of course that movie has some issues. However, the issues in Hulk can be overlooked, Daredevil on the other hand, is unbearable at times. 2000s marvel movies > MCU
Hulk 2003 is actually a pretty good hulk orgin story. It may have its problems but I have more faith in anglee when it comes to hulk films than Disney right now.
