I went to a coin star 3 days ago and spent 20 minutes waiting for a woman to get done using it She leaves and I check the rejects. I FIND 4 SILVER QUARTERS IN THE REJECT SLOT AND 1 ON THE GROUND THAT SHE DROPPED
You certainly find a variety of multiple types coins!! Twenty visits to my local Michigan Coin Star machines and I have one Canadian penny to show for it!! I find more coins in store check-out lines then in my Coin Star machines! Lol
Hey, Paul! I wanted to give you a suggestion. If you happen to find a coin at the Coinstar that you are not familiar with, there is a simple app that you can download on your phone. It’s called Coinoscope. When you open the app, the camera is ready for you to snap a picture of the coin you want to identify. Then, it will search literally every internet source for a match. I use it all the time, especially because I get a ton of foreign coins up here in Pennsylvania. I hope you take this into consideration. Thanks in advance. Stay golden, and happy hunting!
Great video as usual and I collect old coins but I also play the lottery (scratch offs) and when you check the coin machine if you see a scratch off ticket or two on the Coinstar) check the ticket in case it "might be" a winner here in Pennsylvania I take the tickets from the lottery trash can and I enter in the scratch offs/non scratch offs in for the 2nd chance draws to win a 2nd chance money prize in Pennsylvania and I shockingly found in 3 years 5 tickets that were winners that people threw away one even a $50 winner. But keep up the good work on your videos.
Paul I can't even walk through a store that has a Coinstar without going check in it thank you you can see some of my fines on my Instagram page what is the coin Karma family page on Facebook
I been hitting coin stars for several years and built like 3 rolls of silver dimes what silver I mostly find but I get few Quarters and Canadian I hit the coin stars when I see them well yester day I went by one and got like 5.00 face out of one that was all stuck together and I got a 1964 quarter in it was only silver I found but I hit them when I see them I got lot of compition checking them so I have to hit them like s trapper doing a trap run checking his trap I set route up hitting what I can every day or so on one route then set up another route for another day and some times if its a good coin star I hit it every few hours if I'm near but like your finds you had some interesting ones I never found any rings yet just lots of tokens and smashed pennies and foreign lot of stuck together coins I have to soak to use back in circulation
Really it looks like we see the same few in his area over and over. Makes sense. He probably checks them at least once a day, though, I'd guess. I check my local one 3 or 4 times a day when I am in town and out of the house anyway.
