  • It's been a bit, but we are settled in back at the house and I wanted to tumble some rocks :D
This is a run of Lapis Lazuli. I've always loved this blue color and wanted to see how it would polish. Follow along as we go through the whole process and show off our end results!
I got my Rock Tumbler at Amazon: amzn.to/3iYmiPP
And the grit refills too: amzn.to/2S01iMJ

I did this and I felt my polish didn’t really work well, the final step, I may have actually skipped the final step because my pieces were so small… but I may go back and do it… I want to get the multi speed 2lb tumbler mine is small and one speed… I also have the media or the tile bits, I’m not sure when and if to use that any advice would help thanks !

I think if you want to get a mirror polish on these, like you would see with a gem stone, you would need to do some fine buffing on a wheel. These get pretty nice with the tumbler, but I think that perfect finish takes an additional step. Thanks for stopping by!
