    "iki" kind of mean "see you (again)". That's why one of supermarket brands caries this name.

      iki - literally means “until” [we meet again].
      It is kind of a shortening of the full phrase of: iki pasimatymo

    2:18 I prefer saying "Sveiki" (when you greet multiple people) or "Sveika/-as" (when you greet single person female/male)

      Good point - I left that off but this is widely used, perhaps more than the others even

    Lithuanian language is oldest in the world and most difficult to learn, but you know the system how to learn. Good luck

      It's not oldest in the world. It's oldest survived Indo-European one of branch.

      @@Hitasssss I wanted to point out that too. Definitely not the oldest, however, it has a lot of archaic features dating back to whatever century BC. In any case, I'm really proud of it and thankful to my forefathers who managed to preserve it.

    Briliant video!
    A small detail: ačiū - has a stress on the first A (long&strong, open mouth sound). I.e. no stress on the last letter ū which is almost silent (even though confusingly the word is spelled with a “ū” long).
    Whereas in the English sound of sneeze - achoo, the stress is on oo.

    Good, maybe someone will find this video helpful who wants to Start learning Lithuanian. At least you are doing good progress on speaking Lithuanian fluently not like me trying to speak or write in English.

    How are you? - Kaip sekasi/ kaip gyvuoji / kaip gyveni / kaip klostosi / kaip gyvenimas / kaip einasi / kas gero / kas girdėt / kokių žinių / kokių naujienų? 😆
    The best would be “ką gamini?”, but only to be used a joke 😑
