Late to the party but kinda off topic too. But that hose that goes to the frame rail to vent will leak gas when the tank is 3/4 full on my car. Would you know why that would be happening
Hey bro great videos!! Ive followed you guys for a little while now and ive done lots of stuff to my z, however i have a question/concern, that line that you said goes into the frame rail, mine doesn’t have it either so i self tapped it to the fraim rail, i drove the car for the fist time and realized it left a big stain on the ground whic i think is gas, should i cap it off or do i have to hook it up somewhere so that gas goes back to the tank??
You may have filled the tank too much this has been a normal thing that has happened in the past. I would say next time you fill up once the pump clicks once stop filling then re assess. I hope this helps
I have exactly the same issue, not sure why it’s either leaking gas badly or burning it but i drove about 25 miles and 1/4 of my tank was gone!!! Now, is there a way to reroute it somewhere else where gas doesn’t go out and may case a fire? great videos by the way!! Keep them coming
What about that fat tube that the canister was hanging by when you quit showing the delete procedure? The one that goes up and behind water reservoir. Do you cut it off and plug it? Can you follow it to where it goes and plug it there? I know you're no going to leave it hooked up and drive around dragging the canister under the car.
@@ZBruhzchannel Ok, but do you plug that fat tube/hose after you cut it off? What goes thru that fat hose? What goes thru the small hose that you bypassed the canister with? Do you need to clamp the small hose because of pressure or will it stay on because of a vacuum?
@@tommybaker4330 Hey, sorry I'm 5 months late on this conversation, did you ever get an answer about the fat hose? Looks like mine runs up into the frame rail. Does it need to be capped or left open? Thanks.
He didnt mention you have to plug to lines on the engine, one on the throttle body and the other on the plenum. You also have to do the aiv before you can remove the tree. Oh and you also have to buy caps to plug those lines & a line long enough to connect the spots he mentioned in the vid… all said and done title is inaccurate and the video is incomplete
Did u mention deleting the air regulator behind the plenum in your other video? Curious on how to do that, benefits and cons of that. I have my plenum out right now so would be a good time to do if I decide to.
That would be in an upcoming episode, but its simple to delete. Place a coolant cap on the balance tube where it would connect to, and do the same for the side of the IACV
good morning. there are a lot of parts that have been removed from the car. so the line that I have to re connect to the line at the bottom. this line is not there on the car. where does this line go? thank you
It's just a dump vent some z's have them some don't. All it does is vent the emissions into the frame rail. You can make your own bracket to have the line be vented in the same area
This delete is mainly worrying about the gasses from the fuel tank. The reason you run the line is to vent it underneath the car. No matter what swap it is it doesn't really matter. There are different write ups on how to do it, but this is the easiest and cheapest.
Thank you.. I missed a step on my deletions... bottom line. Need to buy a shirt from you now as a big thank you.. large shirt order coming your way. Need a link please.

Once you delete everything you should make a episode of the weight you got rid I’d be curious to see that.
That's a great idea!

No problem!
you should also explain why you did the things you did and what it does to your car like the benefits. cause i have no idea.
This delete specifically helps with carbon deposit build up and helps the engine breathe better

Literally anything attached to the canister is off. You run one line to the bottom part from the frame rail and you're done

Most likely the power steering reservoir
