Daniel Fl. yeah true! My friends UP has the MPI engine and it's no where near as fast as my 1.4 75Bhp at the time!

My wife's Toyota Starlet from 1996 does 0-100 in less than 11 seconds with 75hp. And I bet it will outlast this Polo.

Don't buy with the 1.0 engine. Get the 1.2 TSI instead.

Yes. I've had the 1.2TSI for a week now, drive on different roads. It feels docile until 1500rpm then the turbo kicks in. The engine surges the polo easily even on hills.
0 to 62 in just over ten seconds is faster than some cars from the class above.

You won't be disappointed with the TSI. makes a satisfying wooosh when the turbo kicks in. Enjoy.
Yeah, I also got the 1.2 TSI DSG like 3 days ago. It has more power than I thought it would have. I was expecting it to be much more sluggish.
It has nice pull and it's a breeze to drive.
Of course, I would have preferred the manual, I've driven manuals as long as I've been driving. This is my first ever non-Manual car. It's nice though.

That's wrong. VW Gol uses the PQ24 architecture of the european Polo Mk4 from 01-09. Facelift Gol looks like Polo Mk5.
European Polo is since 2017 the Mk6.
Actually, Brazilian Gol has a very similar arquitecture, however it's made of cheaper materials (hard plastics) compromised safety equipment and also has less noise isolation.
