They are more power then anyone needs, remember back in the day 100hp + was a world class bike. This thing would smoke an 80's VMAX but people still think it is under powered.....it is a well balanced and unique bike.
@@aka_pierre Well being a short ass I like the fact you can get lower seat height versions of these bikes. I was set on a STRIPPLE but I kinda think the sound it puts out would just encourage me to speed more. A Ducati or Mt07 with the engine burble would possibly be something I can enjoy more at not licence loosing speeds.
The SS950 is the same engine class as the Street Triple. It’s still plenty fast, can crack 100 mph from 0 in just over 6 seconds, can do 60-130 mph in 7 1/2 seconds. So it’s still a plenty fast bike for the street. It’ll take most 600’s until 100 and hang with them until 130 mph. It’s past that where the high revving 600’s have the advantage…
You can get better exhaust audio quality and eliminate any wind noise if you put your audio recorder and microphone under the seat. If there's no storage space under the seat then a rucksack works just as well. Good video though - nice to see someone riding quickly but still sensibly
Mirrors are indeed unusable because of the vibrations from the engine. Also there is this funny thing that if you want to do a maximum turn, you will clip your finger between handlebars and fuel tank :)
Because this bike is a V-Twin as opposed to an inline four-cylinder how are the vibration intensity into your body when riding? Does it feel like your whole body is vibrating the entire time?
Nabuduce by to chcelo pouzit zvuk z externeho zariadenia uchyteneho niekde vo vrecku bundy / v batohu, aby nebolo pocut vietor. Inak zvuk velmi pekny, velmi podobne mojej Ducati Monster 821 so seriovym vyfukom (EURO3). Hlavne pri deceleracii na prvom a druhom prev. stupni to krasne brumla, bucha, prdi, sem tam streli do vyfuku
Zvuk je nahravan na externi mikrofon, bohuzel to nestihalo pri vyssich rychlostech jelikoz jsem mel tasku na noze a ne batoh ktery by byl v zavetri. Nicmene ten zvuk je serie, dokonce jsem musel zastavit a podivat se, jestli to tak vazne je, protoze to je fakt narez - presne jak pises. Tohle je navic EURO6, takze by to melo znit jako vysavac, ale vubec tomu tak neni :)
@@pheela2136 ja zvyknem nahravat na mobilny telefon, ktory mam v taske na nohe. zvukovu stopu prilepim v DaVinci Resolve a je to uplne dostacujuce. pocut len zvuk motora. Mne tiez nikto nechce verit ze nemam vykuchany vyfuk, neviem ako to v Ducati robia, ale dosahuju najvacsi hluk zo seriovych vyfukov :)

It vibrates quite a lot, its bearable for the rider, but you cannot see anything in the mirrors as its shaking a lot

I saw in one of the reviews of this bike, it said that the mirror vibrates so much that you can barely see anything in it. Is that true?
Unfortunately this is true, the vibrations are strong and the ability to see behind is very limitted too - even if its not vibrating.
