I love the entire intro of this movie, it’s basically Homura’s perfect reality and really shows how much she cared about all of the girls by giving them each a life they are happy with, instead of simply focusing on her and madoka.
Elaine Carlos I thought for Sayaka her moment was her two selves colliding then bursting. For Modoka you see a hand made of light and a window breaking foreshadowing her scene of freeing Homura from being a witch.

She probably smiled because she knew she was going to be more alone than she ever was before. So she thought smiling was going to make the pain numb.

There are many people making claim that Homura's intentions are always selfish, when in this movie the whole world was made out of every girl's dream combined: Mami has true friends she can rely on and a companion, Kyoko has close friends, plus she and Sayaka (who's now fine with the relationships with Hitomi/Kyosuke) are working together, Madoka is a happy magical girl that saves others as she always wanted. Homura... she's just fine with everyone doing well and alive...
The reason is because in their other universes became witches(Octavia and Homufilly). The sequencies if you ser clossely hace representation: 1. Tomoe the most Mature and experienced....his secuencie represents his artistic side(when she emerges from herself is reference when the witch Charlote killed her and reincarnated continously) 2.Sakura Kyoko shows a tribal dance. This scene is a reference why she became puella Maggy and the consequence of her actions. 3.Sayaka Miki the breakdance is part of her. When she runs to obtain is power fast....is the a representation of the haste of healing her friend hands(seriously wounded by a car accident). 4.Homura Akemi the eternal loop of time....is dance is expresive. This represent her try to escape from her inner darkness. 5.Madoka Kaname. Idol dance is the dance. Múltiple versions of her represents the other versions of her un other timelines created by Homura Akemi. The shatering cristal is the destruction of the old incubator Magic system. When see with one eur is the representation of her goddess contrapart. The circular rainbow....because her puré Heart...represent endless hope.

Madoka Magica's execution of how its a dark magical girl anime was great not like Magical Girl Site, its like they just slammed everything bad at the protagonist. I investigated and i found some runes on sayaka and homura transformation First one is sayaka transformation, there appears some runes that said "sayaka" And the second one is homura transformation, in the part shes dancing i see a runes text saying "zu meistern wir sind gelangweilt" so i decided to translate it and it means "to master we are bored", the other runes text is in also when homura is dancing and the text says " lch töte mich" that i also translated and it means "i'll kill myself" Probably the "to master we are bored" could be a reference to homulillys familiars i guess And probably the "i'll kill myself" could be a reference to homuras barrier concept, cause she is going to a guillotine meaning shes gonna kill herself to save madoka from the incubators
