Notice the Grand High Witch is deliberately mean. When they left their room she asks Ms Irvine what the room service is like at the hotel and she replies "Diabolical". The Grand High Witch then says "Good". And then this scene she sends her back to the room.
I like to imagine if the sequel was ever made, meanwhile the more good she does with her powers the more normal she becomes for example, next good deed she does with her magic, her wig turns into real hair, next she has toes, finally has no magic but she's totally cool with it
And honestly, I’m actually rather pleased she returned to the sequel of chicken run was necessary to see the characters, including some of the actors and actresses well a few
I wonder why the Grand High Witch won't let Miss Irvine join her and the other witches for the banquet. I don't think it's fair that the Grand High Witch and the other witches get to go to the banquet and Miss Irvine doesn't.
Within the context of the movie itself, the Grand High Witch is just cruel/evil like that. This is the same woman who VAPORIZED one of her own underlings for innocently commenting on how wiping out every single child in an entire COUNTRY would be impossible (which it honestly would be, unless they somehow convinced everyone in England to stop having babies) and publicly humiliated another underling for misunderstanding one of her plans. She certainly wouldn’t be above banning her own assistant from the banquet for no good reason. Outside of this context, however, it’s a bit complicated to say the least. In the original draft of the movie (and in the original book), Luke stayed a mouse for the rest of his life, so presumably in that draft Miss Irvine stayed for the banquet and was turned into a mouse just like all of the other witches. Test audiences didn’t like that ending, so the writers changed it to have Luke and presumably Bruno changed back into humans; I’m guessing they needed a good witch still alive to pull this off, so they made it so that Miss Irvine would survive AND have an incentive to become a good witch. (Roald Dahl HATED this new ending, but I digress.)
This came out of nowhere. She been at her side throughout the entire movie, hell she helped hold Luke down and pinch his nose to give him the formula and now GHW wants her to keep her distance from her?
Inadvertently saved Ms. Irvines life.
Love how the Grand High Witch's mistreatment of Miss Irvine inadvertently spared the latter from having the same fate as the other witches.
0:24 Miss Irvine: I quit!

Omg I didn’t even realize that! What a great detail!

Looove Miss Irvine! 😂❤
I can't believe Miss Irvine is Bubble from Absolutely Fabulous
Love Jane Horrocks. Can't say I blame Irvine for quitting.
I love her too! I especially loved her as Bubble in Absolutely Fabulous
Same, Jane was terrific in Chicken Run and The Corpse Bride, too.
@@gregorykeithmorris3970 oh absolutely she was!

And ironically doing do indirectly leads to Luke being back to normal
Yo en la vida soy Irvin
why did the grand high witch not let her go i mean i know that she has to pack her bags but like
Sheesh… The GHW treats her assistant HORRIBLY! I don’t blame her for quitting one bit! Also the other witches seem to look down on her too.
