GCLR Episode 6 Summer Preparations.

The GCLR is preparing for the summer season, if the rain ever stops that is, and after 'Bernie the brush' had finished painting the station, the engineers train needed to be moved as the line engineer needed to do some testing with 'Allan' on new track and some clearances at the station. Everyone was confident it would be ok, but the testing needed to happen so there was no near misses on the GCLR.
This was the first steaming on the year for 'Allan', and there was great excitement when the locomotive came into view and over the new track. the loco was fantastic, and performed and sounded so well.
The testing was a success, which means passenger and some of the whiskey galore goods trains could now run, a little more needed at the station is needed with notice boards, perhaps some shrubs and flowers, someone suggested a grand opening day, and the line controller said he would go away and think about that, but first he had to find a new station master, which he hopes will be this weekend at the National Garden Railway Show, but it will be a tough decision to find the right person for the job,
