The Nabtesco RV principle: reliable and precise cycloidal gears

- The two-stage reduction principle of Nabtesco RV gears reduces vibrations and minimises inertia. Two or three eccentric shafts transmit the rotary movement to the cam discs, which roll on the pins in the ring gear housing. Since the integrate main bearing absorbs external forces and moments, the need for additional external bearing support is eliminated. The advantages of cycloidal gears over planetary gears are increased reliability and lower overall costs.

So, can someone tell me what RV stands for?
Did you got it?
@@arisudhan3629 not until I saw your reply and looked it up again XD

@@arisudhan3629 yeah, thanks bro
no, the website says:
> "RV" stands for our gear's "rotor vector" type of construction, and thus also for their extremely high resilience and precision.
Wow, very interesting.
I am doing a presentation on different gearboxes and how they work.
Can use this video in my university presentation ? If so, please send me the video if possible.
Much appreciated !
Did you get a responce? I am also doing a presentation for my university and I woulld like to use some parts of this video
Fantastic
Fantastic
those planetary gears... ah i see. interesting. all the cycloidal gear designs I've seen so far have one camshaft, on the input shaft directly. I see what you did there. clever.
