Ah, wired MIDI. Takes away the latency people were talking about with the Re.Corder. I also like the semitone keys instead of trying to cover half a recorder hole with a finger.
@@gautrstafr BLE (and BLE MIDI) is known to have variable latency and jitter, depending on different vendor implementations and operating system driver support. Some people get so unlucky to experience even 50ms latency! I'm currently experimenting with my own wireless MIDI solution with Arduino microcontrollers and NRF24L01 transceivers. This way it is possible to eliminate BLE issues (protocol overhead and transmitting windows, mostly caused by aggressive power-saving optimizations - it's called Low Energy for a reason). With a custom solution, a sub-1ms latency is achievable between the hardware devices themselves. However, USB polling at the driver level adds 2-10ms above that, and there's nothing to fix this. But that is pretty much negligible.
There are custom fingerings but I get what you mean. Did came across this question a few times during the show. It is not a hard software update to make, we will think about it!
I realize that English isn't this person's first language, so I commend him on his pitch but you just KNOW he spent hours in front of a mirror getting that right! Haha.
Thanks! I actually spent 3 years in the UK so it saved me a lot of hours for that pitch. Still quite challenging though, camera may come to you any time during the show😅
@@robkoo_official it was well pitched. If you managed to catch me in an lift/elevator, you'd have had my attention. You should hear me speak Mandarin... I can't. Haha.
@@robkoo_official Actually, I do have a question regarding this.... Can you use this to control a 3rd party hardware synth or a 3rd party software synth, or is it bound to only the built in ones? The videos I've seen don't really make that clear.
@@JayKaufman It is a qualified MIDI controller thar connects to all. Hardware synths should work but you may need a solution for connection because they may not come with Bluetooth or USB MIDI input.
I like this presenter.
Thanks! Here is the presenter replying using the Robkoo account!🤣
Much appreciated! Hope folks like it🤩
Thanks folks for getting these NAMM videos out to us very quickly, appreciated.

BLE MIDI has a decent latency. But it's also nice to see this had wireless and wired both

Good evening Mr. TIAMBANG!
So much weird stuff this year ❤
Can you set sclaes in the app so that you only play notes within a certain scale?

Not sure he is the best demo of this instrument. But if you search up videos, it's pretty nice wind instrument.
Fair enough, I am not a wind player at all😅The inventor is

From the future...? 😅 Better than this has been on market for years
True. The RGB lights are the only part from the future. 😁 Still happy to see more Windsynths being made, though!
Can’t decide whether his jacket is ultra hip or really dorky 😊
😮😒😱🤯
Ooooh yeah really DON'T want one 😬👍🏻
