@@CarrotCornerPokerfew videos back I recommended getting this set up because I have really poor vision and can't see if you 4 table so this is perfect for the blind bustards ❤
Pete, months ago you started a challenge to prove how "soft" the NL100 R&C pool is on gg (you said you wanted to prove that 10BB/100 is achievable). Since then, nada. no results, no updates, other than "When I play I can't concentrate like when I'm coaching" and stuff like that. Doesn't look good.
@@yoniker83 The problem is ultimately Pete doesn't have alot to gain by pumping in ridiculous volume just to prove his salt. There's just alot more to gain by working with his students and building the business. I mean even if he put in 50k hands and got a 10bb graph you could just say he ran good anyways and dismiss it? Pete I don't think is trying to claim he is a nose bleed player, but he clearly understands plenty because otherwise people like Benabadbeat wouldn't be collabing with him and asking for hand reviews. Weasel failed his bankroll challenge and couldn't even beat 50nl? Personally I probably would fail a 2NL challenge because I'd just be so bored.
When you do a lot of X and not much of Y, you are sharper at X than Y. As I've said many times, I messed up earlier in the year. I should not have announced a challenge that I wasn't in a position to dedicate much time to. This was an impulsive and rash thing to do, however, I have learned a fair bit about game selection since then and I think it would be a waste of time to put in lots of hands at 100 R+C. It is a bad choice of game for the vast majority of people in my opinion and here's why: 1. Fast fold charts are used a lot by recreational players which gives fish stat lines like 23/14 instead of 55/11. The difference in winrate in games where recs are playing far less hands preflop is huge. 2. While the regs are of a pretty low standard, there are lots of them and the recs tend to be on the tighter side. 3. The rake is high as we all know (more rake definitely not better) Data on pre rakeback and bonus reg winrates is very depressing in these games for the aformentioned reasons. I didn't know how bleak that data was earlier in the year but since then I've seen research that some CFPs have done and there is a reason almost none of them are sending their horses to Rush and Cash. Can you make some money at these games after rakeback, bonuses and BBJs? Sure, but it's still a bad choice of game and putting in 400k hands there to see what is possible is not a good use of time. I would rather play 200 reg tables when streaming etc for now and hopefully higher next year at some point when life settles down post-baby. That way I can earn some relevant side income while making content. As the face of Carrot Corner, it makes sense for my volume to happen on streams and I've now got a set up that makes 4-6 tabling reg tables watchable and I've moved from Twitch to RUclips where there is more traffic and I can reach more people. I made content at fast fold formats for years as it was convenient and looked good but it is not a good choice of game for a professional poker player and never will be which is why so few pros play R+C and other fast fold formats; Carrot Corner sicko coach Kruzer being the notable exception...
@@CarrotCornerPoker yes, R&C win rate is way lower which is why your announcement and goal was surprising… Anyways yeah the new format is def watchable, hopefully you will do well at the regs tables, and congrats for the baby! Ps you don’t really have to choose between RUclips and twitch, you can stream for both at the same time.
Great format this. More please!
1:17:36 wasnt this a good spot to make the B10?

More on the way, thanks for the kind words.
Is that set-up optimal for playing in a pool with so many deckreational players?
Stop decking around
love the stream but also not super in love with the cards. maybe just me tho
You prefer the fully coloured in ones babee?
Awesome Stream
But how the f#** this stream deck works ??? That's magic.
It’s so fun right?
Fuck yeah Pete just sat down with some food and saw this. Perfect!
Enjoy!

I just looked up what a Stream Deck was....I want one now and I don't even stream haha
Time to launch a streaming career?
Great Stream. I have a feeling that half of the GG players are Americans who pretend to live overseas and just use a VPN.
You mean they’re even worse at poker than I thought??
@@CarrotCornerPoker Much worse.
RIP old chicken
Still alive - no burials today
