Carol, could you make a video about the rarest palettes? And another one giving us examples one after the other of all the palettes.

What's interesting to me is how muted colours actually look quite bright/saturated on the right person. It doesn't look "muted" or bland at all, it just fits their natural colours. Maybe that's why I struggle when looking at muted pallettes to see a huge difference in colours bc it's much more obvious on a person than in a swatch
It does explain why much of my current wardrobe looks a bit dull on me. Mostly neutrals and not all of them a good fit

Loving the muted colors on these clients! I can understand how they might have thought they were another season. But the after shots are so confirming! They all look fabulous!

This video was the best demonstration for for me of colors for autumns, which I am. I have spent years looking at color analysis videos and had my colors done over twenty five years ago but struggled to understand the concepts until seeing this simple set of examples.

Carol, are you often surprised at color analysis results? Or, with all your experience, can you predict the outcome of your clients' analysis pretty much from the beginning?

I think that would be a big mistake for a professional to make an assumption without doing the process; so no I never make assumptions and just let process and checks decide 💕⭐️🎨

It’s really obvious to me that winter was wrong in the first case, but I wonder so much about skin qualities, as this person has such shiny skin, and most people think this looks “bright”. And I was analysed as a true spring and I see the translucency especially in winter, but my skin can also be quite dull looking at times. No specific question, just a topic that I would be interested in knowing more about 😊😊

Hi, Carol! Can you explain the difference between the muted autumn vs. muted summer palette? It looks to me like they have the same colors, or perhaps they share some colors? I know autumn is warm summer is cool...but is the palette the same? Thanks! ❤

Depends on where their colouring lands on undertone, value and intensity scale… both palettes would share all colours in Muted palette… for an Autumn, an Autumn add on card may be suggested, for a Summer a Summer add on card may be suggested 💕🎨⭐️

Can makeup change someone's need for muted colors? Assuming it's done well/professionally, if someone makes their features stand out with makeup, would that affect whether or not they'd look harmonious in muted colors?
