Simulator games always allow for the best episodes because they just fill in the background while they chill and talk about whatever.
Second only to trivia games as my favorite type of Game Grumps videos.
Background games or bad/weird one-offs do make for some good episodes, but I also feel the need to shoutout narrative-heavy games that give the boys a lot of material to work with, like A Way Out (which is easily one of the funniest series they've ever done).

When Arin said "got my weed shirt on." It made me think about how my boyfriend literally works for a lawn care company called "Weed Man". They wear a green shirt and drive a green truck that says WEED MAN in big yellow funky letters. It's great

You know, I didn't think I'd ever see this kind of game on Game Grumps. But honestly, I really love when they play low-octane games like this. Something about the space this kind of game provides makes for some amazing content. I guess these two can make almost anything fun to watch.

I'm literally sitting here thinking how my dad would force me to cut the lawn on one of these bad boys. I literally learned how to drive on a mower and now I'm sitting on the toilet watching these beautiful boys captivate us lovelies doing something I used to loathe.

I loved it, I started at 9 years old and haven't skipped a week :3 mine was an old 80s 34 inch craftsman 5 speed. Taught me how to drive 7 years early :D

I like these simulator games because of how it basically just devolves into a podcast type format where the gameplay kinda back seats to the conversation. Would love to see another episode of this tbh.

I was taught to go by perimeter. My dad would yell at me if I did it any other way. I do it my way in the game: Section by section, row by row.

I was told to start with a border so you're not running into the fence and sidewalk every time, then do rows and have half of the row you just did within the cutting section so you don't miss anything. We had a crappy mower. And lawn, come to think of it.

I always find it really funny when the itemised receipt comes out at the end on games like this because its so petty. Imagine you did a job for someone and afterwards they were like "well you did a great job, but you did step into my house to uss the bathroom without taking your shoes off. Getting stoned and watching continuous edging of grass and shrubbery is the best.
This reminds of that episode of King of The Hill, where Hank and his friends went to a lawn mowing convention, and Boomhauer tried out that virtual lawn mower. I always lost it at the part where he screamed, after losing his virtual fingers.

I can see how this would be a nice game for someone who enjoys mowing lawns but can't anymore due to some sort of disability or illness or perhaps a drought that means there isn't a lawn or keeping a lawn isn't feasible. As an aside, just watching this video made me realize how much thought goes into mowing a lawn. I never thought little of people who do it for a living (I mean, I've never mowed a lawn, so they already know more than me), but wow, there's even more that goes into it than I expected. My hat is off to you, lawnmowers of the world.

After all these years I’m still finding myself being entertained by these two…and they’re mowing fucking grass…

I used to be a landscaper for a bunch of rental properties; I it's not exactly the same because I was using a gas push-mower (versus a ride-on), but usually I'd trim the edge and difficult areas into something of a square/rectangle, and *then* go back and forth to finish up. Saves the hassle of trying to match the curves of the lawn, and generally looks normal after a few days.
Day 13 since the tucking chuckling fuckin annihilation of the giraffe town play through, as the world record holder of giraffe town, I suppose
Lawn mowing is like giraffe town. It’s all about precision and trying to make a tedious task with little room for error go by quickly. Or not.

I actually do this for a career (professional), and you have NO IDEA just how satisfying it IS to see the actual end result, and the smile on the customer's face!!! AND THE MONEY IN MY POCKET! 800 dollar work watch? Yep. Kinetic. And it sparkles as bright as the sun! I think of it as giving the earth a haircut. I like my lines straight and neat. The earth deserves the same!
