A open circuit on the loop won't stop any devices working but if you get another open circuit or a short circuit you will loose devices. So remove the incoming loop wires on loop in fault and find out what devices you loose, let's say there are 10 devices to start then you loose devices 7, 8, 9, 10 the open circuit is between 6 and 7 as long as its wired as addressed.
