    If only they'd have made Batman Forever this way! it would have been awesome! Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face and seeing him transform into him from Harvey Dent would have been great the Tim Burton way, Robin Williams as The Riddler would have been interesting to see! But most of all, Brad Dourif as The Scarecrow would have really worked! If anyone could have done that role the Tim Burton way he was the perfect choice 👌

      Actually, Tim Burton's only involvement with Batman Forever was to hire his friend Joel Schumacher as director, and help out hiring Lee and Janet Scott Batchler as the screenwriters.
      And it was Schumacher who wanted to do Two-Face, and he only wanted Tommy Lee Jones for the role, and that's already a done deal. And it's also the Batchlers who wanted to do The Riddler, and it was Joel Schumacher who wanted Robin Williams to play The Riddler, and he would be the same over the top/flamboyant Riddler as was in the final film.
      In the first two drafts written by the Batchlers, they gave Riddler the name of Lyle Heckendorf, not Edward Nygma. His company was not NygmaTech. His name was Lyle Heckendorf. So the name of the company was HeckTech. And Joel came up with a scene that was not in the final film where Lyle stalks Bruce Wayne and Chase Meridian at the circus, where they're about to see The Graysons die, and in order to get closer to Bruce, Lyle stole clothes from a fortune telling leprechaun, which form the basis of the Riddler outfit.
      Robin read the screenplay for Batman Forever and he loved it. Due to a salary dispute, the role went to Jim Carrey.

      Actually, Robin Williams was considered by Joel Schumacher before Jim Carrey was cast. Lee and Janet Scott Batchler wrote The Riddler with Robin Williams in mind. Robin Williams as The Riddler would be the same over the top/flamboyant Riddler as was in the final film. Unfortunately, this is very unlikely to happen, but for a good reason- Robin Williams was actually remarkably ahead of his time and saw the way media was changing with the longevity of the internet, and specifically put it in his last will and testament that his imagery, name, or likeness not be used in any media after his death unless specifically greenlit by his family. And given that Robin Williams not only was screwed out of being in the 1989 Batman movie *as the Joker*, which he was enthusiastic about doing, but also publicly swore off working Warner Bros until they apologized… I don’t think his family would much approve of making Warner Bros more money :/ Still, talk about a missed opportunity, RW as Joker, Riddler, any Batman villain would have been great. Hell, make him Poison Ivy, he’d kill it.

      @brandonspain12345 5 месяцев назад +1

      Sorry to break it to you but the movie never exited, there was no script, story or planned villains. Everything you hear on the internet is fanmade rumors. Batman III was the first draft for Batman Forever’s script, which was written AFTER Burton left and Schumacher was hired. He was the one who wanted Two Face while WB wanted Riddler. Brad Dourif himself confirmed he was never asked for Scarecrow and was only asked for Joker back in 1987/1988. The title “Batman Continues” is also a false rumor fans made up as there’s no concrete source or answer on where that originated or where Burton said it.
