  • Anthony Slonim, M.D., DrPH, is the President and CEO of Renown Health in Reno, Nev., where he has transformed the health system’s approach to engaging with the community. His vision for the future of healthcare challenges existing models and goes beyond the hospital walls to address the health status of entire communities. In his talk, Dr. Slonim advocates for healthcare reform that improves the social determinants of health and considers the comprehensive needs of patients and families.
    Dr. Anthony Slonim is the President and CEO of Renown Health in Reno Nevada and a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM). He is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Critical Care, and a Doctor of Public Health. Dr. Slonim is a nationally recognized expert in patient safety, accountable care, healthcare quality, and innovative care delivery models focused on improving health in the community. He is an academic leader and tenured professor with more than 100 publications, 15 textbooks and more than $2 million in National Institutes of Health funding to his name. Dr. Slonim also serves on the boards of the American College of Physician Executives, the Stevens Institute of Technology, and is the Chairman of the Certified Medical Representatives (CMR) Institute Boards.

    This is one of the most important topic but probably not the most viral known by people. Many times patients go to hospital get out getting bad. Universal patient database, networks, medical bill coverage, health care and doctor patient relationship development. And health community importance
