I look forward for the backstory of Sakazuki in One Piece manga where it would reveal why he legitimately hated pirates for a reason other than they were threat to order and society.
I dont think its about hating pirates, but him taking his job seriously. If he truly hated pirates on the extreme level, he would have tried to kill ALL the pirates during the war and not try to solely focus on Ace and Luffy until people kept jumping in
I know people hate him for what he did to Ace but I think he's a great character that I deeply enjoy in the story. Also, I would like to see his backstory one day.

One thing that I’ve seen brought up about fighting the Magma Fruit is “Just use water! It worked for Crocodile, and water would cool the magma!” That is true to a degree, but you would need SO much water to reliably cool down magma. The water would boil and vaporize extremely quickly. Aokiji is probably the *only* person who can solidly and reliably contend elementally with Akainu. If there was a Water-Water Logia, I firmly believe that it would actually be *_inferior_* to the Magma-Magma Fruit. Blow for blow, the Water Logia user would boil and evaporate, while barely cooling Akainu. So, no, do not use water against Akainu, unless you have the entire ocean behind you. (Now Water + Ice, that’s devastating. One or the other? You got a problem. Interestingly though, I think the Water Logia would be = to Kizaru’s fruit in terms of elemental advantage, and vastly inferior to Aokiji’s. Like a “one touch is game over” kind of deal.)
the more i watch the anime the more i see how they changed the rules. lava is not only hotter than this, heat would vaporize anyone from getting close to it, even if they dodge the hit. just like how they changed the rules of lightning not being hot enough to burn rubber. still, this logia fruit is considered the best offensive fruit. until he faces someone with the perfect lava counter. and i don't mean gear 5 because we don't know if luffy can survive fire and lava
@@irfangumelar5404 yes he did. but that was fire, the lava is twice as hot. not to mention he couldn't touch kaido when he used his ultimate attack. even if luffy could turn lava into rubber, he would melt his hand by touching it. just look what it did to ace and luffy's chest. and even luffy survives, the lava is also explosive and sakazuki could endanger luffy's friends by spreading it everywhere. that man is literally a wild dog when he's off the leach.

It may be that when there is a confrontation between the Straw Hats and the Navy, the opponents of each Straw Hat will already be defined, as we can see during the opening of the Dressrosa arc where Luffy is facing Akainu Sakazuki, Zoro against Fujitora and Sanji against Kizaru.

Either way, even if Barto's barriers can withstand the magma, it's hard to imagine the barriers being enough to actually defeat Akainu.

People say that the dark fruit is the strongest logia but Akainu out here creating volcanos, dragon heads, giant fists, entire caves underground, meteors, all made out of magma and being totally untouchable by other logias. Magu is the actual strongest logia.
This fruit is/was for the longest time a VERY overrated Devil Fruit. If you look at top 10 Devil Fruits, you'd more than likely to see this fruit in the top 5 if not the top 3. And the sole reason its even there in the first place is because its powerful. That's it. People who do this are seriously looking at the fruit from a narrow perspective, you should also be looking at other aspects to consider such as how it can be used or how detrimental it is for the people around you. Once you take these factors into equation, then you'll realize that the Magu Magu really isn't all that great as its extremely specialized for combat and only combat. How are you gonna use this fruit in day-to-day life? The closest thing I can think of is using the magma to make Igneous rocks and somehow manipulate it and/or use volcanic ash for part of attacks or as fertilizer. Otherwise however you'll struggle to use this fruit elsewhere and the fact this fruit is very dangerous for the environment is not a good thing as it can quickly destroy everything around you. Also, *inserts argument on why the Magu Magu being superior to the Mera Mera makes no sense as the latter's fire can become much more hot then fire*
