I enjoyed this video because I knew some words, and learned several new ones.
We lived in Jerusalem for 14 months back in 1995-6.
When we first arrived in May,the preschool wouldn’t allow my two daughters to attend. After the summer vacation, they had learned enough Arabic and attended that school in the Old City with their cousins. I learned my vocabulary while trying to help them with their homework. I often needed help reading the instructions on the work sheets.

Say, how was Jerusalem ? Heard that it's not for everyone ( for the secular ones whether they Arab or Jewish or neither of 'em) whenever they had visited it once in their lifetime again there's not so much to do there except a few things like prayer since it's a pious city and enormous like Chicago especially downtown where there's a river of people reaching their destination.
@@mikhailabunidal9146 We just lived our normal life with the family. Fridays in the Old City is like a river of people, but I just went with the flow, literally.

also very interesting, in Nazareth we say محاة instead of ممحاة and براي instead of مبراة... I wonder if it's a regional difference or you say this in your village too? I mean if I remember correctly your village is not very far from Nazareth, so it would be shocking if there are regional differences within such a small area haha
I am teaching in a school in Nazareth right now (مدرسه مي زياده, hopefully i spelled that right because I'm still early on in learning arabic), but I talked to the teachers about this and they told me that there are variations between close villages, like in Iksal/إكسل they pronounce the ق as a a "g" sound in English even though they do it the normal way in Nazareth (Iksal is very close to Nazareth)

I am very depressed I asked a friend of yours to help me learn Arabic. I prefaced him by telling him I am Jewish and I am from Israel and would understand if he didnt want to teach me. He exploded with anger and told me that if he was in Palestine he would kill me with his own hand. I am Jewish but I love and believe fi deen wa fi Allah waRasulihi. I am working to bring peace between Jews and Muslims.
Such behavior and such language is the opposite of the behavior of Rasul Allah Salla Allah Aleihu wa Salam.
I am against violence and insults. My ancestors lived with Muslims for 1600 years in peace and were like brothers. The fanatical Shia Imams in Yemen at times brutally persecuted the Jews and ulimately in the 1920s kidnapped and forcibly converted and raised Jewish children which is entirely against the will of the Prophet SAW.
We can disagree, even fiercely so, however such language does not reflect AlDeen Alkareem and should never be used. The Prophet Saw never spoke this way even to his worst enemies. Allah Yubarek Fikum!
