I'm currently 13, I was put into piano classes when I was about 6 or 7. My first teacher kept me on level 1 until I was about 9 or 10 and finally quit being with her. We found a new place for me to enroll in a music school, and the teacher is really nice. However, I made little improvement and I was on 2B with her. While she's on maternity leave, I have a substitute from across the U.S. teaching me from his studio online (he works for the same music school). Last week he sent my mom this piece to print out and I only played it for 5 minutes it was the first measure- and I got 2 notes wrong... He told me to close my book when I played the piece I'd been playing for months and told me to take out this piece, and I did. Today, I've played 1 hour and 30 minutes of this. This is coming from someone that lost motivation for piano but couldn't quit, someone that barely practices, and I'm so happy that this piece exists.

My piano teacher just gave this to me to learn. Yay. I started piano 4 months ago.
The first movement is slightly faster than what I prefer, but if it's at 0,85x custom speed it gets perfect.
Esta Sonatina era mi favorita, la tocaba a todas horas
Great rendition. Truly enjoyable.
He played this really well... thank u.. I have been playing piano 20months... i learned clementi 0p 36 no 3 first... took me 3 months and is still not finished... it is on my channel... this piece i am learning now... about 2 weeks It took and another couple of weeks on the dynamics... I found it easier... but still a challenge for me as a beginner...
agh dont lose hope all u young pianists playing this u will make it!! im working on it!
The way he is playing is soooo satisfying. I am a beginner level 2 in piano and i am about to learn the 3rd mvt. :’) I still cannot make the 1st and 2nd mvt. perfectly! I guess practice does make perfect. And to the guy who played. Bravo
this is just-
flawless
Very joyous and beautiful ... great feeling and heart!
My Mama used to play this...brings back so many lovely memories. I think I will learn it next...I think I actually knew it by heart forty years ago
I learned the first part of this song in Vivace, and now its time for me to learn the whole thing
pray for me
Very helpful! Thank you. Your interpretation is beautiful, I personally love the second and third movements. Just saying
If you read the book called blended by sharon m. Draper it says at the end the link to this video lol it's a great book I love it

People who comment in 2018 are so late, also, thank you for having this video, I am playing Sonatina rn so this is very useful 1:35

So 2019 is not late ?
2019! I'm beyond late at this point.
Yay i am not late because i am from 2019.......
I played this 15 years ago for my RCM Grade 2 exam (it's a Grade 3 piece). It was such a great piece and introduced me to accents and dynamics (though I stopped playing shortly after, lol). I was fine with the scales part, but the left hand was very challenging for me.
Lol I played it in grade 5
This song sounds great! This is going to be the reason I play piano again!
Why the hell is your username minecraftfromohio
who else is watching this because there was a link for it in the end of the book 'blended' and you low key wanted to hear it? just me?

I love the pions I have been playing it on and off but now I want to do it again I am still practicing ❤️❤️❤️
Angelina Ortega your right
Clementi is an underrated composer. Just heard his "Great national Symphony" Number 3. Horowitz admired Clementi and played his works in concert.
It’s ad if you see the tripling of little cups of kittens and puppies running all over and catsambles in clear beautifull songs (like musical Cats, it’s Sooo Romantic and sweetly like a dream played, performed, Thank You Sir. So Much ,
Wow how fascinating piece of sonatina, love it 👏👏😀😀
Tap the screen. You will see 3 dots, click them.
Click playback speed, set it to 0.5 or 0.25. Then you learn
Thanks
Haha l set it to 2x try it
😹😹😹😹😹
So funny when 2x
I bet everyone here watching this because they just got sonatina album, this is probably the first song u were taught from the book too
absolutely correct
how did you know
So true m8...
Yup, and I do this piece for more than a year
And I can only play the first 2 parts at half the speed as him
Yup 😀🤌
The vivace is suprisingly the easiest piece out of the three, everything happening at the fast tempo is kind of already ingrained naturally in your fingers, or at least easy to get used to. Overall great sonatina, and although faster than most, a solid and well-done interpretation.
I remember very well having learned this Sonatina in C Major Op 36, No. 1 when I was 14 years old in the Musical Institute BACH in Lima City.
This is the exact thing I'm playing for my recital tomorrow 😂
Me too
I don't
Me too
😠😠😠😤🐢🐐
Im doing this today rip and i didn't memorize it
Finally someone playing this at solid tempos
This is my JAM
Especially the Andante, and you did it so well
Thank you very much 💖
I am using a book to read this music. OMG u r awesome
Hi everybody here! I learned & played this when i was 8 years old. Stopped formal piano lessons at 10 -- but i started playing on my own, improvising, and composing my own songs and playing keyboards and other instruments in bands at 15.
I just turned 54 and still love music, piano and Clementi and find it lovely, funny, and happy in a strange but nice way to be connected through Clementi and RUclips to people of all ages from all around the world who play this exact same song.
Smiles to all from Cochabamba, Bolivia. 😊🎉
He is a professional of piano he like better than other teachers his music almost made me sleep 😪😮
Estou relembrando esta peça agora!! Linda interpretação👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
my piano teacher give me this song and now im stuck on andante:/
Same
It's easy it might take time but maybe a month or two if you are a begginer with dedication
My left hand is like miles behind the other one even though it has the easy parts
for me the allegro one (spiritoso) was a lot harder than vivace
Samee
The first piece I learned how to play was the third movement. :)
el primer tema serio que hizo mi hijo fue este, CUANDO TENÍA 6 años. gracias por compartir sus enseñanzas mr. CORY. SALUDOS DESDE PERU.
