No one could help or answer to my question and I hope at least you will know. :))) When you say statistics how research him or herself conduct statistics which is done by the governmental institutions? In other words, if I have a statistics done by the governmental institution as a report is it a primary or secondary data?
For the institution that is collecting the data, it's primary data and for anyone using previously collected data, it's secondary data. For example, government having a census is their primary data. On the other hand, you using their census for some research purpose of your own such as a report, it is secondary data for you.
@@noorbajwa7638 Professor told me opposite. If the governmental institution has published think tanks, reports or opinion polls, these are primary data for my dissertation.
Thank you for your effort in this video. however, could you please give us further information about the secondary data such as: Data Types, Searching Methods, Advantages & Disadvantages, how to evaluate it ) Many thanks in advance for you reply
