It's bad enough Herbie Mann is naked, greased up and holding a phallic flute on the front cover of an album called Push Push..................what's even worse is that we can't tell what his other hand is holding.

Hey 👋, Ellen! That Herbie Mann, I know of him! I’m sure that my Sis or my Cousin either gave me, or loaned one of his/her albums to me. It was called, “Herbie Mann and the Memphis Underground”. Kind of Rock mixed with mellow Jazz. Its been like a lifetime ago, so while I’m positive about the title, I’m not as confident about the style of music. But, there were many horns on the cover.
That Herbie Mann cover is the worst. The music itself on the album is pretty good, I have to admit. Nice mixture of rock music and jazz. Herbie Mann is a good flute player, but man that cover is creepy and sleazy as hell! The '70s had some great album cover art no doubt, but the '70s also had some really weird shit like that.
Goldpilar you have his music? Is he like gethro Tull? One no shirt but not two no shirt pics. Back then it wasn’t sleazy people kind of vance back to more uptight times. It ebbs and flow thru time.

The album cover for 'Jesus Use Me' is already something of an internet meme. Still, I never get tired of it. "Push, Push' was not the only album where the Mann thought is was a good idea to bare his chest (ans: it never was for you). Still, he's a decent flautist.
