We are planning a 3 month trip, January to March 2025, somewhere along the south coast but are concerned that remtal properties will not have very good heating and we will freeze. Is it normal for rental properties to have good heating?

Hi, I’m planning a family holiday end of September / start of October just outside Albufeira. Will it be warm enough for kids to swim in pool/beach? I might change to start of September if it’s too cold for them to swim. Many thanks

Very informative video, Sara! I am planning to travel in the second half of October this year to Porto, Madeira and Lisbon. Would you recommend traveling around that time? I wish I could travel earlier around September end but I have work commitments. I fear more rain, less greenery, shorter days around second half of October though 😪

Hi I've been to portugal many times. Mainly Porto. I've loved it every time. I've been in May, August, September and October. Which time of the year do you think is the best time to go to Portugal? Im thinking about June next year so I can see the Sao Joao festival. Let me tell you it has rained everytime I've been to portugal. I was in Porto for the last 12 day of September and it only rained on my last morning of my trip.
Hi Gary, I am sorry you caught rain all the time: it isn't normal actually we are going through a huge drought for a few years and as I said in the video, we have many more days of sun than rain...and when it rains you can always find solutions! Early June is nice! Enjoy the São João :)

Hi there! Very helpful information you got and just what I needed the most, The Weather!! I am planning to travel to Portugal for 10 days in March 2022. I plan to travel to Lisbon, Algarves and Porto. Will March 18th to March 29th be a good time in terms of temp and less rain?

March is usually a month with spring like days, but it still rains from time to time. Anyway, end of March there are already flowers and I am sure you will like it rain or shine.
PS: don't forget to include my hometown Coimbra in your travel plans. Central Portugal is really important and you will miss it if you just pass by on the way to Porto...

Hello! Usually it's still good :) it starts being cold and more rain in November, up to late February.

Yes usually in April there are nice temperatures already (around 20°C to 25°C)
