Since Mike M. gave this talk, in which he mentions that the single rarest of the Joplin rolls for Connorized was "Pleasant Moments" (Waltz), as no copy had been found, a copy did turn up of that roll. It was found by New Zealand roll collector Rob Perry. Thank you, Adam, for posting this wonderful souvenir of Mike Montgomery.

I was there. This presentation was a piece of history, specifically rare roll collecting, that was one of the prime gems of the Blind Boone Festival. As I started watching this, the first remarks made by Mike gave me pause. I immediately stopped watching and made this comment. Mike started relating how he had sold his roll collection (probably the best ever) to Frank Himpsl...that stopped me in my tracks, even though I heard him say that in 2006. Frank Himpsl just died, and that has been all over the internet this last week. Now, Adam posts this. Wow. Roll collectors, share this record of history that has no equal.
I was fortunate enough to be there in person for this presentation. Thanks for posting.
Rich, so was I! What a small world... a shame we didn't meet back then.
