out of curiosity, do you thumbnail before you jump into the illustration? or do you just sort of come up with a layout? i’ve noticed your layouts are really good

I create my thumbnails after I finish the image. I have a mdp file with the "speedpaint" title overlay in which i import the finished image under and adjust till it looks okay. I then just change the overlay color to match the illustration with layer effects.

@@Cheitora I think what they're asking is if you do small sketches of your composition/pose before starting your drawing to figure things out

@@ClariseTG Ah my apologies for misunderstanding; what you see in my videos is basically my start to finish for every piece I do. It's easier for me to start with freehanding and going with the flow. I will redline and draw over if I feel something is out of place as the process continues.
