Agreed. I hated the Seeing Double variation. No combos in it. Dark Sabbath is my fave. I put the slide on it too. I use it to check safe rushdown characters, but I'm still trying to attack while doing that. Problem is Noob's strings all start with highs except for 2. The 2 strings that arent high starters are punishable asf.
yeah that shit was not fun to watch and normally i root for the other player in matches like this (no hate to sonic) but the way that noob played was disgusting lol noob doesn't get 350+ from a touch just for him to spam shadow slide the entire match
@@smoothsavage2870 yeah back in like season 1 KL I was running noob’s second variation mainly for those combo extensions after a hit confirm/restand. But yeah with this noob update I run Sickle Snag, Shadow Portals, and Shadow Slide. Really feel like this is his strongest load out for any match up
@@Defivnt My loadout is basically Dark Sabbath, but with the slide instead of Spirit Ball. I kept the Sickle Port in there for anti-zoning and cross up opportunities on knockdown. I think it's under utilized cuz most people think it's useless or just not the best tool in general. Still exploring how it can be used in different situations though.
@@smoothsavage2870 I like the concept of the move, it’s like a meter less teleport cancel but my thing with it is that against good players, it’s very reactable and/or you’re forced to block when using it against aggressive players, so you’re basically forced to either mash or give up your turn. The meter burn portion is what kills it for me tho, it’s -9 on block, which isn’t too bad, but that’s a full combo punish by like 80% of the roster. (Stand 1 into full combo punish) And for those that can’t punish it on block, there’s a very easy flawless block to it too.
That game against MightyUnjust was so fun to watch. Great to see some top tier noob footage.
The match against unjust was just fucking flat out sweaty af. Definitely one of my favorite ones from the East though

@@gregsa2425 noob saibot has one of the best anti airs staggers and pokes and once he whiff punish its pressure on till you break it. Joker is different online than offline. If you can start reading his pokes and staggers you got him online. But again big difference in the online tourney vs off.

They're fun to use when you're playing, but it is forsure momentum breaking when watching. I kinda feel MK11 would be so much better without fatal blow. Krushing Blows are cool tho just wish everyone had good ones

Make sure you have Krushing Blow Hold check on in the settings. That way you only spend it if you hold down the button.

Looks like he has kapow and jumping jester. One for combos and the other one for setups. It’s pretty good overall.

I kinda have a feeling it might be a little while before they can put out confident tier lists. I mean Ultimate was basically like releasing a new game or like half of one
Fatal blow/special cancels need a nerd badly. Either give them a limit per round/match or make it so you're safe but can't use them to extend combos, or that you're unsafe if you can.
Just make Joker a little more unsafe if anything. He can cancel for that fatal grab and that's it. Once he cancels just wait for the grab or string. I can say I'm really tired of Jokers throwing out the burning cash over and over and over though lol
Two characters
Sounds like what you need to do is first fix your grammer and second lab fatal blow cancels. Not everyone could just do FB cancel. It takes good reads, skill, patience and hit confirms to do them. One thing to do is to never press a button when you play against johnny or joker is to press any button when they have FB.
