It is amazing to know that the writer of this song, Sangai Vedanayagam Sastriar brought into expression all the wonderful spiritual truths by beautifully weaving the poetic aspects (alliteration, rhyme, meter,rhythm etc).One must admire the spiritual knowledge he had acquired , in addition to the poetic excellence in those early days. It is also praiseworthy that this man of God Rev. Bro Chelladurai explained the lines in such simple and easy way for the newcomers to Christianity to comprehend. The joyful singing by the congregation is another pluspoint. Praise be to God.
