    The T-Rex Quint Machine raises the bar for polyphonic octave effects, offering octave down, octave up, and fifth up tones, each with their own individual volume control, and a mix knob that lets you fine tune the blend of dry and effected tones. You can even ditch the dry signal entirely for haunting organ and synth-like tones. Other possibilities include instant bass and 12-string guitar sounds, single-note power chords, and more. Tracking is fast and accurate, enhancing the Quint Machine's ease of playability and sonic realism. As with all of T-Rex's premium products, the Quint Machine is designed in Denmark, featuring the highest quality components.

    Whether you like this pedal or not, everyone has to agree that Andy's playing is just absolutely brilliant as always. Andy, You inspire me SO MUCH after I watch your pedal demos to just run and pick up a guitar!!!

      So most of the times it's the player not the pedal or amp.

    My ideal bass version would have the fifth above the octave up. This way you could use the lower octave for thickness and the two higher notes for bass + guitar power chord riffs.

    finally! an official video to this pedal! it's so cool with the added fifths that makes it a slight bit better than the pog but that's just me just cuz i like a simple pedal with a lot of extra features

    The reminds me of the cover I did w my band the Milky Way. We (I) mixed Strange Days w Horse Lattitudes in the middle and then the rest of Strange Days. Happy Birthday today to Robbie Kreiger 1/8/24. Andy always amazing

    I'm an ehx fanboy but this kills the POG. I've tried this and the tracking is amazing. This with a dirty fuzz would sound massive!

    Just to clarify, the MIX control is subtractive. The other three knobs all act as you would expect, turning them clockwise increases the volume of that effect. The MIX knob acts in reverse. Fully anti-clockwise includes the maximum amount of the dry signal and advancing this knob clockwise reduces the amount of the dry signal in the mix.

    • @sasul
      @sasul 5 лет назад

      that is why it is called mix, not "dry". 0% of mix would be without the effect...50% would be 50% dry and 50% effect...100% would be only the effect...

    • @p_1210
      @p_1210 5 лет назад +1

      sasul the wrong, the dry is never completely taken out even fully clockwise.

      I've got this pedal and absolutely love it. One really cool thing you can do is just set it very, very, low and it will basically just thicken up your clean sound to the point that you can't even tell it's on until you turn it off. I know that might sound weird but it works in practice. LOL!

    I came across this pedal at Guitar Center and the sound was very cool. I usually don't go for gimicky pedals, because the assumption is that they will be rarely used. But this one. I really dig that you can turn down the mix knob so it's subtle. And in general, there's a warmthness to the sound. Me keeping it!

    Not an effect that would be used a lot but when needed this one would do the job.

    • @djmartinez5054
      @djmartinez5054 4 года назад

      I disagree. Why? Because it has a mix control that you can dial down so the effect is subtle. :)
