    Just a note to say
When spraying new plaster it should be a watered mist coat. Also do ceiling and wall edges first. Then the ceiling, then the walls. then apply top coat to ceiling and lastly the walls.

The paint they are using does not require to be watered down. It’s especially made for fresh plaster

@@lewisshane8800 They have Express coat made by valspar. Valspar say that the fresh plaster must be sealed with interior primer and undercoat prior to painting with Express coat. So you are wrong. normal practice as the other person said is to use a watered down mist coat first.

Going to be using mine on Saturday. 😁. One question though. Aren't you supposed to dilute the paint with approx 50% water for the first mist coat on fresh plaster?

@@ste_t we did 10% on ours and worked perfectly!! No clogs at all and used a breathable bare plaster paint

@@ste_t hi there, we thought we had to water the paint down for the first coat but the one that we bought for new plaster (Valspar express coat) said not to water it down so we didn’t and are really pleased with the finish after just the first coat!

If you're planning to spray the final top coats on the walls, use a medium pile roller to back roll the walls as you go. If you don't and need to touch up marks or making good ,those areas will flash as there's no texture or stipple from the spray finish.

Was that 4 hours 2 coats and that’s it finished? I’ve just bought the same one for the jobs I complete as I’m a plasterer so going to start offering a spraying service. I’m not sure how long a full house would take me but looking at this it’s going on in no time. Great video

Its mainly the prep work that takes the time

Danish oil and wax on an oak floor is a waste of time, 2 part Bona varnish is the only one I use.

Should have got the FB paint colour mixed in Johnstones, FB paint is shit and expensive.
