Mr obvious,,I’ve loaded thousands of 223. One thing I learned very early on was that IMI brass is much more accurate than any other ,,,so when you test use it first an exclusively,,it does have a three percent lower case capacity,,,my favorite boo lots is the fifty grain weights,,ballistic tip or Sierra blitz king ,,
@@lastminuteman I’ve done many brass tests over the years and the difference is bigger than I can talk about ,,the brass is already anealed ,,and a little thicker , stronger ,,and can be loaded many more times than a rem or Winchester
In the nintiesI bought a brand new drum ,,thousands of these brass because of this ,,nine cents each and I bought them at wideners reloading supply at mountain city Tennessee
That gun will shoot either forty or fifty grain weights in half inch groups but for some people including me to do that I need at least 14 x magnification,,I can not possibly do it with six power.
I agree with you on that. I will try a flat back bullet also. I like the 53 grain V-MAX very will to, it works good in my other rifles. I have had some rifles in .223 .22-PPC .22-250 .220 swift that did not like a boat tail bullet you know how it works. I have been reloading over 30 year and not out of tricks yet LOL.
@@Mr.Obvious- 28.1 grains of BL-C2 under a fifty grain sierra blitz king or Nosler,,,and BR-4 cci primers 2356 OACL You can go as high as 28.8 grains blc2,,,,I have plenty of those primers if you don’t
@@Mr.Obvious- I have not seen the br-2 but bought a brick of 4 last year 100 bucks,,,I bought those at a South Carolina gun show ,,that same guy works the gun shows with lots of primers but he is high which is better than non existent
@@Mr.Obvious- I have three or so pounds that I bought in a case of eight pound kegs left ,,,call HGH sporting goods in conover nc,,he might have some but if you go there let me know and I will bring you a pound also ,,,I think i got eleven dollars a pound in it and you can have one for that amount
Spiral twisted barrels awake. Why waste money on that?I'm not keep the rifle affordable. You're damn sure not doing that? With that barrel pull your head out of your ass's ruger
