Tourist bus and tempo traveler owners claim abuse by taxi drivers

Tourist bus and tempo travelers owners have accused the tourist taxi drivers along the South Goa coastal hotel line of abusing them frequently. The tempo and tourist bus owners claim that the taxi drivers don’t allow them to pick up the tourists at the hotel when they are confirmed for the trip. Tourist coming in groups select tempos or buses, since the fare for tourist taxis is high, hence by opting for tempos or buses they save some amount instead of selecting two or three taxis. A complaint has been filed regarding the abuse to Colva Police.
