The Big Draw's Eleanor Pender chats with Rose Sinclair. Rose is a Design Lecturer, Author and Co-Curator of the first retrospective of the work of the first textile designer of Caribbean heritage to achieve international recognition, Althea McNish, which showcased from 2nd April 2022-11th Sept 2022 at the William Morris Gallery.
Eleanor spoke to Rose about her textile practice, her passion for telling the stories of those often absent from the design discourse and all about the Althea McNish exhibition and how it all started.
