    If I was Philly and Michkov comes over, I would not make a deal with any young rostered players until next season. See what you have as Michkov a rookie, and go from there.

  • @mr.fraitz3241

    Why would the Flyers trade away a young, still developing player that’s hitting career highs on a low AAV for his potential caliber of play just to “make space”? Michkov is going to need guys to play with when he gets here and I just don’t see why a rebuilding team would trade away things they need for things they have an abundance of already. Sure, they could use some key prospects and extra picks but they already have a bunch of 1st and 2nd round picks in the next few drafts to acquire those guys and they have other assets to trade if they need something. I’d be surprised if they traded Farabee for anything other than another good, young, established roster player on D or playing center.

    As Philadelphia media…I would get this thought out of your head. Michkov coming has no effect on Farabee. Secondly, the odds that Briere wants to move on from 3rd highest point producer on the team who’s only 24, is also unlikely.

    No way, there is a reason he got little ice time. Hughes is not getting suckered into that. I rather trade Anderson and Gallagher to Calgary for Huberdeau. He is 6 , 1 and has scored over a 100 points. We are trading dollars for dollars. Inmagine Huberdeau, Dach and Lindstrom. How about also the Xherkaj brothers on another line. Think we would have the size to go for the cup.

    First off JF isn’t going anywhere. I see the flyers trading the Florida pick and the CBJ second round pick for 20th overall and getting another playmaker. The only players the flyers should consider trading is Akinson,coots and anyone else washed up. Coots is my number one trade target and I dont care if it’s a 7th rd pick. No captain should be benched for being lazy like coots.

    Travis Konexny will NOT be traded. He's the Team's leader, Captain and best player! He has huge kajones and at 5-10, 176lbs he will drop the gloves with those who are much bigger. I can still see Mathews cowering away from Zack...it was embsrrassing and spoke volumes.

    • @jg6657

    • @bobbygoodman2875

      @@jg6657 I meant to use a small C and he is certainly the defacto captain. He's just 27 and has 5 great years ahead of him. He led the Team in Scoring on an awful Team with a moron or coach. Of the top 5 scorers, he was the only plus player (+4). He was 2nd in PPG and is undoubtedly, the best Penalty Killer in the League...he SCORED 6 shorthanded goals and is always a threat in any situation. He may be traded, but that would be bizarre. What would be the reason for such a move? If Philly wants to move him, as a Sens fan, I want him here where he starred as a Junior. I'll say this, every Player on that hockey club would be upset by that move; particularly, Owen. They can go through a rebuild but with a 27 year-old star, he would be able to teach the bew additions all about: heart/soul, passion, drive, winning attitude, pride. You don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

    • @jg6657
      @jg6657 16 дней назад

      @@bobbygoodman2875 but the flyers won't need him for at least 3 or 4 of those years, so are they really going to spend 9+ million a year to get one useful year out of him? And by useful, I don't mean productive, I mean useful in the pursuit of being a deep playoff team. They need a better supporting cast in a few years from now...trade him and get some prospects and a HIGH pick.

    As a Flyers fan, I'd be fine with parting ways with Farabee for the reasons you explained. We are a rebuilding team and could use all the picks and prospect we could get. However, I don't think it's likely to happen. I believe Konecny will probably be the one to go.

    • @SDooley55
      @SDooley55 14 дней назад

      @@ethanscannon2934While I agree, they shouldn’t just be trading away young players, 1) konecny isn’t really “young” and 2) they should if the deal is right. But I don’t think MTL realistically trades anything for Farabee that makes it worth it. Unless they’d be willing to part with like a top 5 protected 2025 first round pick, which I doubt. Farabee was on a 70 point pace through the first 50-60 games where then the entire team was terrible. It also kills him that they have no damn centers to play with him how bad Coots was down the stretch.
