Bro why don't you just rebuild the speaker? Take you time, and in the meantime adjust the system so it you don't have uneven loads. there are a TON of rebuild videos, and PLENTY of places that sell kits. When I saw you ripping and tearing it apart I screamed at the screen LOL It's gonna be hard to get the exact same texture and feel (and the logo.. but that's what cameras and printers are for) If the coil didn't blow then you wouldn't have needed to rewire it, but when you ripped it all out you probably ripped up the coil wire :( I suggest you watch some videos, like a bunch from different people, and learn their techniques, which are all pretty much the same, but there could be differences.... Then PRACTICE on some other speakers... and see how your results are.... it might take a few... or a lot... of tries, but you said you can't really get those speakers anymore, so rebuilding it MIGHT be the answer.... it's not easy... it WILL take all you skills.... but it's not impossible, and people do it all the time.. but you gotta practice :) - OTHERWISE you could forget it and just take out the matching speaker on the driver side, seal it up... adjust you amps... and keep it as a spare incase this happens again... I PROMISE you won't hear a difference LOL :D - - - You'll figure it out and get it working perfectly again... And I CANNOT WAIT to see what you come up with..... ONE THING THO... Maybe get a little LIGHT in the back with the speakers... nothing fancy, just something to add some light (preferably some adjustable color LEDs with a frosted cover to disperse the light so it's not directly in your eyes) just a bit of accent light... and you could change the color... like 1 solid color at a time... none of that rainbow puke stuff LOL 😬😬

@@djlp87 airbags usually deploy based on g forces from yaw or impact sensors, i suspect bass even to this extreme does not create enough to trigger the airbags, though would be interesting to see if it could be done
Sound waves are Devine creator God magic , that we get to experiment with and enjoy . But it does suck when sound pressure and frequencies are used for nefarious purposes

now thats a demo car. stock dash, 2 windows down and bandwidth plus wind. peak right there. great to see the amazing success of the build after following you and your channel for many years, youve come a really long way. youre definitely one of the greats, always will be. good luck with the dash, youll probably have alot of firewall flex which makes the dash flex worse. youll want to fibreglass up that firewall eventually to help keep it stiff. maybe some beefier custom steel brackets for the dash to keep it solidly mounted too, and some subtle bracing with some bits of steel/wood/fibreglass to keep it together but also still looking and working like factory.

That crease in your dash is where it separates to release the airbag out of it. The flex is just making it more obviouse now from bending. A custom dash with forward facing speakers would be dope.
I only deal with sealed boxes. I have done ported, but I like quality over quantity. I obviously know that box design is #1,but I don't have room for a 6th order. Back in the day, I had 6 15"W6 JL audio. When they came out with W7's, that changed the game. That's nothing compared to subwoofers today. Now I have 4 15" DS18 HOOLIGAN x15's, and they are mind blowing! I only have room for a sealed box, but I would rather have flat response over SPL.
What would be a solution for the dash flex? Could you not weigh it down with resin and wrap it in suede or something or is would that be not enough for the extreme bass ?
Seems like if you ran your mids ported then the lower frequency from the subs would blow through and equal out the pressure on both sides, keeping excursion much lower.
Behemoth finally getting some wear and tear, seems to be broken in quite well 😅 hope to see the demo in action sometime next year, that beast looks brutal And cool to see remy upgraded to the L7X 15, cheaping out with 2 sdr 18's for now boutta put 2 more in my trailblazer once I get the little things fixed, just rebuilt the transmission in it lmao. Hoping for my next build I can add 2 L7X 15's to it as it was my original goal. Working with what I got here making the best of it i guess! Lol

That dash crack is were the Air Bag is located. Its designed to break the dash when it deploys. The Bass is just making it visible

airbag is triggered by a device that measures G force, not vibration from bass in music.

Flock the dash board so you can't see the crease. You could even lay a sheet of fiberglass on it before you flock it to reinforce it.

That epoxy in the mirrors worked out good. The only weak point now are the mounting studs. I just broke one on my truck. I just have 1 hybrid 15.
