I was 21, walking through the misty forrests and beaches of Humboldt County, CA,with a mug of Earl Grey tea lodged firmly in my hand....I'd just realized I had a crush on a woman named Tracy, who went to college with me at HSU. She was a TA in my history of religion class. I didn't know what to do with those feelings back then. What I do know is this song's been one of the few that have remained current in the sound track of my life for the last 30 years. Melissa is a trailblazer. I wish I could spend one more day, walking the forrest, listening to her on my discman.
