Week 8 House Renovation: Finally Getting New Windows & Doors!

- Welcome to another week of my home transformation. This week I’m getting my windows and doors installed! It’s been a very long time coming and it goes without saying that I am quite excited as you will see.
This has definitely been one of the biggest transformations to the exterior of my house so far! I’ll also be showing you the updated layout of the ground floor which is coming together nicely!

The decision to add the hallway looks to have paid off massively. Plus the window colour looks great with the house. Can't wait to see the final product

Honestly! Just changing the windows has elevated the appearance of the house drastically!

Thank you! Anthracite was a bit more expensive than going with the typical white windows, but I was definitely worth it in my opinion 💪🏾
You should of left the upstairs window the same size as the downstairs window at the front of house
I could have, but if I kept it the same size, the window would have been right up against the wall of the bedroom which I didn't like

IS the door composite? was there a price difference with external and internal difference in colour? looking great, cant wait to see the final reveal. Did you end up buying the house next door?
Hi, Yes the door was a composite door.
Typically anthracite finishes (which is what I got) are usually 20/30% more than the standard white finish on internal and external facing.
I didn’t end up buying the other house, ended up getting outmuscled by a cash buyer, and if I’m being completely honest it probably would have stretched me a little too far anyways.
But it’s all worked out. Thanks for checking in!!

Thank you! My houses are in Medway, Kent. The house prices vary depending on a few factors such as the area, the number of bedrooms, the type of house (e.g. detached, semi-detached, bungalow etc), the standard of the house. Do check websites such as Rightmove to get a better idea of what you’re looking for & the prices you should expect for it 💪🏾
