The worst lie we tell girls is that they can do everything men can. But the competition is solely defined by terms of men's success. It has always been about advocacy for women. Can be interpreted as striving for equality where women are behind. Ring by Spring 💍 My daughter went to a Christian college and that's a saying there. Meaning aim to be engaged to a good man by Spring of senior year. She is applying for medical school, and she was very focused that she preferred to begin building her family during her undergrad. She hopes to have a baby during her residency. She has wonderful women 15-50 years older than her encouraging her, mentoring her spiritually, professionally, and in marraige and family. That's what is working for her.
What I miss in this interview is the importance of clothing and the rise of the mini skirt at the same time "the pil" came on the market. The pressure that was put on women to dress themselves in a sexy and provocative way. And that fashion and make up became very important. Women became pleasers who need to look young and willing. And so they became competitors for each other with revenge and jealousy in their hearts. And men laughed at it and made jokes about it.
I think you are correct. The pill enabled sex to be given and taken on demand "consequence free" (all though it can never really be consequence free the pill just makes it appear that way) and with that came a focus on sex purely for arousal and pleasure. And therefore there was a focus on women to start marketing themselves for free sex to men. Women in hollywood etc... fully leaned into that and it influenced younger generations

Ezer has originally two meanings in Hebrew, depending on the pronunciation: to rescue/to save and to be strong. In the Old Testament the word Ezer is used 21 times. We can roughly divide the different Scriptures in three ways the word “Ezer” is used:

What these Bible verses have in common is that Ezer is used consistently in military context. The Ezer is a warrior. You are a warrior.
The Hebrew word Kenegdo means opposite as to him or corresponding as to him. A woman is no better or less than the man. Man and woman are equally and uniquely created, a perfect fit.

This woman is not a feminist. I don't understand why she calls herself a feminist. I am positive it undermines the goal of reaching the people she needs to be reaching. I would go as far as saying that if this woman calls herself a feminist it is a bit emberassing.
