Hover air 2 is in production now, no release date yet, but will be this year, no spec yet but it will be 4K. They didn’t tell me what else is being upgraded.
@@MrPlaneTalk I sent them a email asking if a updated version is coming out soon as I didn’t want to buy one if a new one was coming out and a wanted 4k.
My girlfriend and I have had a great time with this little flying selfie stick and it just keep getting better. It won't replace my Mini 4 Pro or my Air 3 but, as you say it's not in competition with DJI. My recommendation to DJI would be to keep a very close eye on this product and figure out how to incorporate gestures into their software. Thanks, Darren.
I love it, i wish the next one had sensors for better obstacle avoidance and a higher top speed, for ebikes or motorcycles, maybe car tracking on race tracks.
If money's no consideration I'd say yes. Sadly for most people money is a pretty major consideration. As I've just commented, I love mine but really can't recommend it at the current price.
Great video. It is starting to get confusing on all the flight modes and sub modes, and which settings can be done with the mode button, and which settings must be done through app. Anyway, I love your cheat sheets for the Mini 4 Pro, and would love to see some cheat sheets for the Hover X1. Pretty please? Also, maybe a video on best settings. I started putting together a spreadsheet for reference. I will email you and maybe it can be a start for yours, cuz you do it way better.
That drone looks amazing, I'd certainly buy it for going on nights out with the family. If say for example you are at a pub outside or a family get together or even a wedding and you don't want to take the DJI Mini. This I can see has great potential! I might even see if I could try and take it to Dubai with me. As foreign tourists such as myself aren't allowed to take drones into the country. As you can only fly them there if you are born in the UAE or you are a foreign national living there. So potentially it's possible to take it in the country. As I already got stopped for taking my DJI Mavic Mini into Dubai about 4 years ago. Confiscated it right there and then in Terminal 3. I got given a warning but I wasn't fined as they could tell I didn't know that you couldn't bring it into the country. I collected my drone from the same place they took it off me on my return back to Manchester Airport. But you can bring a drone into the country if you're just passing through to the next destination. So this drone might be possible to bring into the country. Overall it looks like a great little drone! 😉👍
That a cool drone but rather pricey.. going off the subject of this video,I have just had email from Luminar with you pictured on there with your great Drone editing tips. Nice one pal
@@DMProductions still not too good Darren. But keep these videos coming. Mind you that Hover X1 is a very neat drone. I think I might get one just to play with I I can’t get far. Thank you for asking how I am. It’s much appreciated. ❤️👍
I'm seriously considering selling my DJI and buying an X1. You can hardly use your drone in this country because of the weather but as you're only going to use the X1 at low levels it should be more useful.
What do you think about the Hover X1? It sure is handy to always have a small drone with you! Check it out here geni.us/0twc9
I would wait for the x2. According to some rumors it will be released this year
Why, why not wait another year, and get x3.
@@alanc973 haha… or 5 years and get the X6. 😂

This is what I'm waiting for really
They added speed, battery life distance and height also
Ok. How do you guys know this? Honestly.

Brilliant project congratulations

Absolutely agree! I love the form factor and ease of use of this
@DMProductions The Hover X1 looks to be a really cool drone! Thanks for the great review, and for the previous Hover X1 review as well!!
No problem 👍 Thanks mate
@@DMProductions Much obliged!! Great content as always, Sir!!!
There was just another recent update. I think it is: 7.5.3
What did that do?
How to update it? By using the app?
I love it, i wish the next one had sensors for better obstacle avoidance and a higher top speed, for ebikes or motorcycles, maybe car tracking on race tracks.
Will there be a updated version soon, ie 4K I’d definitely buy one if that’s the case.,
Yes think a 4K version would be great
This is a cool drone I’m tempted

I think you missed the point about the gesture mode, the idea is no need to land between modes.
Your discount coupon is not working
That small thing looks good. Tempted to give it a go.
it is pretty cool., on Amazon too 😉

haha really, I did not know this lol
@@DMProductions haha,really... sent you a screenshot via Instagram message.. nice one fella.
Nice place 😎
You could always put one up for a raffle? 🎉
I picked one up to go on walks with my dog 😊
haha yes good idea !
I like that drone but I don’t like the price. I’d buy it for $199.99. Be nice if DJI made something similar.
Evening my friend
Good evening mate are you ok

The only thing I don’t like about these follow drones is that you have to walk like you’ve crapped yourself in order for them to keep up.
Joe Biden approves this drone.
Great little unit but pricing in Australia is way too expensive……..complete rip-off…

The X1 is only useful for vlogging. Not a replacement for a regular photo/video drone.
lol we all know better..
