The water pump pliers look like they might be a very nice tool. But they aren't exactly giving them away. I looked up what a twelve inch pair was going for and found that they were $50 plus.
I can definetly vouch for their quality, even though they are expensive they are a great bang for the buck. My grandfather has a couple of pairs of knipex pliers that have at least 3 decades of everyday use as a mechanic on their back and still work fine.
Dammit, now you got me pronouncing it all funny. I know the k isn't silent, but when I hear people say it that way it still irritates the hell out of me.
