As a hooper , I Appreacite that he is right handed but keeps the ball in his left hand without having to crossover to gain control with his right at any moment. Straight left hand ball control young is good to see
That first clip showed me everything I needed to see. Alijah's got the ball on a string (AA did a pull back with left into a right to left cross); he has high basketball IQ (defender tries to deny him left so AA pulls back and sets the defender up with right to left cross); he's athletic (AA's quick and can jump); and most important, he's a dawg (AA tried to put the 2nd help defender in a body bag even though he missed the dunk)!
I said similar things after watching one clip of him in a game. He scored like 40, but it was the fact he had every move. He first-stepped into a behind the rim finger roll that looked so clean it reminded me of T-Mac. Every time I see him I think about T-Mac, really.
The fact that he is right handed, but always keeps that ball in the left to eliminate unnecessary steps leads me to believe that Gilbert taught this young man about the holes in his game (Gilbert ) first…..this young man will be truly NBA ready by graduation
THE KID CAN STR8 OUT BALL JUS LIKE HIS POPS YA HEARD ME,I ALSO SEE ALOT OF 2 ON 1 IN HE STILL FOUND A WAY TO SHOOT IN SCORE JUS LIKE HIS POPS YA HEARD ME WEN,HE SHOULD HAVE PASSED THE BALL OUT OF THAT DOUBLE TEAM TO SHOW HE’S NOT SELFISH LIKE HIS POPS YA HEARD ME,LIKE FATHER LIKE SON,I TELL YA IM TELLING YA,HOLLA..
You know a guy is headed to to the top-3 when you see defenders giving up on guarding him halfway through. Pay attention to the defense's body language during the 2nd half of this clip. They started moving out of the way like they just wanted to get the game over with.

I LOVE how he doesn’t play around with the ball he’s here to score he doesn’t care if it takes one move or 20
He raw, his dad was raw, I just named my 2nd son Alijah. So I definitely rooting for AA. I’m AB as well as my first son.
Actually we all have 3 have the AB Initials.

His 5x better than bronny
He’s gonna be one of the greats
Out of all the nba sons coming up i think Alijah Arenas and Cam Boozer are the best.

He’s looking way past the level he’s playing in . He needs at minimum college competition 🔥🔥
Dam I thought he was like a senior on his way to college
Trying to figure out if I should make a trade for him in 2k 😂😂😂
bronny n bryce < alijah
Kind of reminds me of a younger Dejounte Murray.
KOBE 2.0!
If he learn Kd crossover it’s over
Yea he stay getting tripled and doubled
Stg😂😂😂😂 scared to be on that island
If only bronny was this shifty Bronny be a role player so bad
He has alot of malik monk style, defensively let see seems too offensively focused
I see alot of Terrence Clarke. He ain't a high flyer like Malik Monk.
Kid likes to go left
