Good conversation! I have been gaming the idea of sleeper cells doing active missions, especially in urban areas to rob and collect weapons. It would be a really tough situation, who would/could you trust? Largely the best option is to get out of urban areas now, before there is trouble, but for some of us that is difficult. The biggest decision I am trying to make is what are my triggers to bugout? I have a rural place but I'm not yet ready move there full-time.

The "guns ablazing" type of invasions is not at all a viable strategy and a quite waste of time for us to give much thought to. The real invasion will be much more subtle and carried out over a long-term series of events, the likes of which your guest mentioned ie: our border security, the competency and reliability of out "leaders", and some that were not mentioned like, the stability of our infrastructure and currency, the land and asset ownership by foreign "investors", our consumable supplies (food, water, medicine, etc.) the overall health and well-being of our society as a nation, etc etc. All of which are completely at risk of attack by an enemy. Now think about how many of these assets I've listed have already been compromised by known enemies of the USA by their own efforts and by the transgressions of the internal traitors we have in our midst. Our destruction will not come from some unknown outside force but from our own hand through negligence, lack of intelligence, indiscretion, and apathy. Most importantly our total disregard for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. When you remove the fundamental belief of God from a society, that society will feed on itself until it hasn't the will or capability to do anything else but die. Forsake the evil and detestable ways we've come to call "normal & acceptable" and return to the Father, THE True Standard of morality.

The idea of terrorists dressing up as authorities and causing murder and chaos is as unsettling as it would be effective.
I think your scenario has one issue, it would be best discussed in relation to more densely populated areas, as this is where it would have its full effect and be most useful to our enemies. If you're living rural or in a cozy small town and you know your neighbors and local cops, that's a non-starter, but this would also be pointless to do in sparsely populated communities in the first place. However, it would be highly effective at causing terror and chaos where it would matter most, where the majority of the population lives -- large cities and their densely populated suburbs.
Our relatively safe, orderly, opulent and stable society, or what's left of it now, has raised us to rely on, trust and defer to law enforcement and first responders in general. During the safe and stable times, this is a major asset, allowing everyone to have the life we've had in the 80s, 90s and 00s (I'm speaking in general, of course, naturally crime is always present). However, outsourcing security to someone who does it professionally means you have to defer to them when they require it, and we've all been conditioned to do so since childhood. Not to question your friend, but I'm willing to bet a lot of money, that if someone he believed to be a police officer told him to get out of his car, he would comply, regardless whether he believed there was valid reason for it or not. Because as we've learned from plenty of "sovereign citizen" videos and ample police body cam footage, what you believe matters little, and a cop will get you out of that car one way or the other, if HE believes he has valid reasoning. And if it's the other way, you're automatically facing charges, and a ton of headache to deal with, even if ultimately you are proven to be in the right. So unless you've got drugs in your car or have warrants out, the overwhelming majority will comply in practice, regardless of what they think they'll do in theory.
Another wishful element, in my view, is to dismiss this scenario because we believe that we'd be able to tell we're dealing with a fake cop. I think that comes from the valid fear and understanding deep down, that if most of us thought we were dealing with a real cop, we would in fact comply. There is nothing more disempowering, than admitting to yourself that you can end up in a situation where you COULD HAVE defended yourself, but will end up dying with you gun in your holster, and your truck gun in your truck, because like all normal people, you're conditioned to accept a cop pointing a gun at a civilian, as being within the norm, something you wouldn't let anyone else do under similar circumstances. So the next hope (or cope) is: "well, I'd be able to tell that's not a real cop, and then I wouldn't comply." In reality, how often does the average law abiding American, Canadian, Australian or Brit interact with a police officer, to learn all of the intricacies of their uniforms and insignia? It's also important to keep in mind that we aren't talking about some goat herding Abu Hajar and friends doing a slapstick comedy sketch version of this tactic, with a 60 IQ fresh out of the sandbox terrorist pretending to be an NYPD or LAPD officer. Our enemies are sleeper cells, in many cases very likely to be professionals, special operations units of unfriendly nations, trained in sabotage and subterfuge, disciplined and well funded. They've had plenty of time to come in, by the hundreds if not thousands, through the undefended US border in the South or through unregulated temporary worker and bogus student visa programs in the North, in Canada. They have had all the time in the world to prepare this hypothetical attack. So let's put our egos aside, give our enemy the respect of vigilance they deserve and assume they could get their costumes right and could carry themselves with an air of authority and discipline, enough to fool and average Western citizen, and even the paranoid preppers like ourselves.
The effectiveness of this would be tremendous. It only seems like something not worthwhile for them to do, if you think about it in isolation. But as we know, all effective attacks are multipronged to build that cascading effect and maximize impact long term. Imagine power is cut nationwide because a few teams of foreign SF sleeper cells attack critical substations on both coasts. Scratch that, we don't even have to go that far: imagine a cyber attack cripples half of the cellphone networks, a hack on the banks makes half of electronic payments unusable, the communications that are left standing are flooded with panic-inducing disinformation, stories of multiple schools in multiple major cities being targeted by masked gunmen, with gruesome video footage propagated online, most of it fake, carefully crafted beforehand, but with a few real attacks to leave everyone assuming most are real. One or two explosions are heard in the downtown core; stories of trucks with gunmen riding around suburban neighborhoods, shooting at houses and tossing molotovs in the windows spread faster than the fire; again, majority are fake, but enough are real to make one think all of them are. Social media has created the perfect system of instantly delivering disinformation and making far-away things seems immediate and impactful, especially where fear and panic are concerned, and especially when this panic can be cemented with some real world events.
And on top of all this chaos, everyone's social media begins to flood with stories and video of policemen going door to door and executing civilians, pulling them out of their cars on jammed up highways or gunning them down as they run from their abandoned vehicles. "It's dressed up terrorists, no it's real cops going full klansmen, no, idiot, it's the globalist coup, no, moron, it's [insert President at the time here] going mask-off authoritarian, they're here because you're a left/right winger and they're here to kill you for being a socialist/Christian and take your abortion pills/guns, like we predicted". Cops alone would be enough, but depending on how many men the enemy has, other first responders could be impersonated. A firetruck erupts with machine gun fire, targeting a crowd of people outside of a Costco; an ambulance arrives to a scene of carnage caused by earlier terror attack, only to open its doors and have men in all black, screaming about the greatness of God in a foreign language, jump out and start shooting indiscriminately, etc. etc.
With as little, as a hundred reasonably competent operatives, in teams of 6 to 8 people, with a well-timed plan, where they move from location to location quickly, with violence of action and surprise element on their side, a multipronged attack, where they're causing chaos and adding to it by pretending to be fist responders causing more chaos, coordinated in tandem with a few successful cyber attacks and a disinformation campaign on their side -- they could throw a megapolis populated by millions of people into a complete and prolonged state of anarchy. And I assume our foreign enemies domestically number a lot higher than a hundred men.
The impact of this is so profound precisely because in a time of crisis, we turn to the first responders, the upholders of stability, the pillars of the system. When people figure out that you can't trust them, this has a long lasting effect, way beyond the damage of the initial attacks, it's a massive multiplier of terror. Because now social trust is broken. That automatic deference to authority figures and compliance by most people, which insures order, is gone. And remember the 2nd Amendment? Well, would YOU want to be a cop rolling out on patrol into a city in this state, with all of the usual rioters and looters added to the mix, taking advantage of the chaos, gangs deciding it's the perfect time to resolve their disputes, and so on; where the 2nd Amendment ensures that anyone could be armed, and now not just criminals, but any armed civilian is likely to shoot at you, thinking you're a terrorist dressed as a cop or the agent of the new fascist order coming after them? And these fears would not be unwarranted: understandably jumpy citizens would attack cops, understandably jumpy cops would overreact to citizens, further complicating and enflaming the problem. By itself, this isn't a particularly effective tactic, but as an element of a more complex attack, it's devastating. It would ensure that any success of other elements and the general state of pandemonium would have a chance to extend in time and cause a self-reinforcing loop, by undermining the ability of those who usually come and re-establish order, to do their job. Not because they're somehow physically prevented from doing it, but because the foundational trust between the uniformed and the civilian is completely broken.
PS: A long-winded reply, and I won't fault anyone for not reading it, but it was an engaging subject and an interesting conversation, which I believe merited a comprehensive reply. Love your videos and appreciate you sharing your skills, knowledge and perspective.

Has anyone considered the possibility of a full scale invasion. Terrorists would be trivial in comparison.
