@@alh06 We liked the Envision so much we bought one. It is the $49,320 version with everything but with only 3,000 miles was $35,000. Cannot you buy a Japanese CUV with surround camera, Safety Seat, and heads up display for that much? Even Lexus doesn't offer a HUD or Safety Seat.
We rented a 2017 Ford Escape SE AWD for a 6 hour trip to another state to pick up the Buick Envision. I was asking myself what Ford does to the Lincoln to make it quieter, better handling, and better seat cushions. I thought I was going to get tinnitus it was so loud. The throttle was responsive and the brakes were very good, but the steering and and handling was terrible. We did manage 33 mpg with the cruise set at 65 mph though, which was great for AWD and torque converter transmission. My butt was so sore from sitting on 1.3" of seat cushion.
When we traded the Envision on Regal TourX they gave $2,500 more than we owed plus the taxes that were financed and we got $9,000 off MSRP on the TourX.
So now the big question... How does this compare to your Mazda CX30?
The stop /start will only wear out the starter faster
It's manufacturerd for China bro hence the weird pedal set-up.
Am I the only one that realized the power ratings (hp and torque) are the same as the VW GLI??
9:21 stil doing over 2000 rpm... Where are those 9 speeds.. would easy do like 1300
It's a 2.0 turbo four I don't know what you expect. 2000 is still low for highway cruising in anything that 's not a V8
@@corrodesthefilm the Prius does that with easy from a small 1.5 of 1.8 4 cyl even if iets smaller you dont need that mutch bigger.
So this is an interesting buy, for the same price as an Edge ST I can buy an Envision ST with more luxury but lacking the 2.7 TT V6. I’d probably buy this for the brand ćache and warranty. Also get to Pretty Carolina!
Buick really doesn’t have much brand cache
@@alh06 more so than Ford, but yea true
This is $28K on cars dot com. The Edge is dead!
Nice car ❤❤
No mention of the rear view mirror. I still don't know what the paddles are for.

Good review man!

GMC CX-5?!
What’s the point of Buick in the United States?
How dare you!
Buick outsells Acura, Infiniti, Jaguar, Volvo, Cadillac...
@@normt430 Most of those that you mentioned are a class above in terms of quality and price so it makes sense.
@@UhOhUmm that is what Cadillac is for.
So you always know what cars are driven by old people
So you telling me this suv is build in China 🇨🇳 and shipped back to USA ?
Top notch in quality too!
Another crowded segment, the Buick Envision went home with the award in the Compact SUV category. The model received highest marks in all ratings except for features & accessories quality - mechanical and design. Still, it holds bragging rights over the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Equinox, Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Rogue, Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX-5, Jeep Wrangler, Volkswagen Tiguan, Mitsubishi Outlander, Subaru Forester, and GMC Terrain.
Yep
the whole, not AWD until you push the button
I will never understand who thought that was a brilliant idea?
I think it’s a way GM is able to weasel their way around EPA efficiency regulations, I bet during MPG testing they only test their cars in FWD mode which makes them look more efficient than their competitors
@@marco.morel04 Never thought about that. Now it makes sense.
I thought it was Korea where it was made/most popular.
nice opel
yes the brother is the Opel Grandland.
Is Opel assembled on Epsilon ll along with Cadillac XT4 like Envision is.
The front looks a bit Audi-ish
Caution when buying the 2022 Envisions. While the Build and Price Buick website shows that the electric full adjustable passenger seat is available, due to chip shortages it is no longer available. A real deal breaker for a semi luxury GM SUV. I'm going to look elsewhere.
Hmm? 4Runner or this?
Lmao 4runner
Is it wireless AA/ACP?
CarPlay? Yes it’s wireless, though sometimes music will glitch in my experience. So I prefer wired
@@letswatchutube5132 Interesting. My Kenwood 10" aftermarket unit is 👌👌👌 for wireless AA reliability

Hi
I'd totally buy this if it wasn't a gm product

They're good cars. Too bad Buick makes them in China. A dealbreaker, to be honest.
Everything looks nice but I just get a really boring conservative feel from it, maybe I've been watching too many new KIA EV6 video lately
This is targeted at 50-year oldest who probably pay cash for the $28K starting price.
Ahh a Vauxhall
Actually a XT4 is disguise on the GM Eplision platform.
Ugh I wish it wasn't made in China
That is actually a good thing and better than the Japanese at the $28K price.

@@normt430 Yea it's a nice car, just I feel like cars made in China do not have the best track record. There will probably be many recalls, but only time will tell. Thanks for the reply.

Car looks like it is from 2012. I think this is what GM let's the drunk UAW workers design and build. Can't believe this division is still around
I suppose you don’t realize then that this vehicle is designed, and built by SGM (Shanghai General Motors). It’s a vehicle originally created for the China domestic market, though this vehicle has some changes for the US market.

Sounds like the cheap piece of Chinese junk it is when you close the doors. A Trax sounds better when you shut them.
This thing is outrageously overpriced given the content. The only people praising this are Norm T who is a troll and Boomers. No wonder why it doesn't sell here.
Lmao then don’t watch videos about it if you hate it so much?
Looks stupid all blacked out. It's a Buick. Stop trying to act hard in a Buick!!!
Exactly. Buick should be embarrassed by that nonsense. Buick buyers what classic styling. Silver and chrome accents. Plush seating, in shades of beige or gray, and soft suspension.
