Just installed the grill overlay ( found a carbon fiber style one ) and installed the same lights , bought from bright source with your promo code - I was able to use the screw to fix the light and it turns to be very nice - thank you for the great videos

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra and I was wanting to get these. I was wondering how I would switch them between amber and white if I don’t have any other aftermarket lighting accessories? Would I need to get something like a switch panel or anything else before I do this? Thanks! Love the channel!

Yes they are on separate switches on my Auxbeam panel. There is a wiring diagram photo on my RUclips community page and Instagram showing which device is connected to which switch.

Thanks man. I am not sure about the Ring camera in my vehicle. I know there is some controversy with the home systems right now and privacy, but for me I think it is the shape and mounting location in the demo. I need to research it more.
Man, I love how you got your truck set up. Great videos too! So in regards to this video I like the grille lights and the bar light to compliment it as well. I have a 2023 HC and I think I’ve found a way to do the grille lights but not sure about the bottom bar light as I don’t want to cut anything and I haven’t figured out where it can go but my question as I’m new to this completely is how are you powering and switching colors. Is there a remote system for this and can I achieve this without splicing into anything. I just don’t want to void any warranties that I have. Thanks in advance!

You're brave. Pulling a blow torch out around my truck/ truck parts always freaks me out. I use a heat gun.

Question: I do not have the fog light mod so my fog lights turn off when my high beams turn on. Do you think I could wire the amber to my fog lights and the white to my high beams? Is this possible or is there a chance both would be on at the same time and ruin the lights? 🤔
I think it would work as you suggested. Even if there was a scenario where both colors came on, I am told by Brightsource that it shouldn’t cause any damage to the lights. They will glow a washed out amber color though if both are on together
If ill connect the white wire on high beam fuse and connect the amber wire with low beam fuse, will it switch colors with high and low beam? Or both colors will lightup together making in yellowish ? Gmc sierra 2018?
I don’t have a 2018 to reference, but if your low beams stay on with your high beams then yes you will have a both colors at the same time and become yellowish.
Could you wire these into your headlights or running lights to be on all the time?
Yes you could but you would have to pick one color to use
Don I just purchased the switch box and the DRL spot lights and I’m lost wiring them. How did you do to set the DRL and the spot light in separate bottoms? And in which one you plugged the ground so they both work independently? Thanks keep it up with the videos 👍🏻

Very nice video. I have a 2020 Sierra 1500 Denali ultimate. Any chance you know where I could get a chrome delete? It’s black so I want to black it out and add the off-road lights you have with the blackout look think it would look mean.
Thanks, what do you want to chrome delete. Denali’s have a lot of chrome. Some can be vinyl wrapped, some trim is better to replace. The grill for the denali is likely a paint job
@@Donslife I was thinking of almost everything. The mirrors, grille and down below the grille where the tow hooks are and the window trim. The exhaust tips I’m not really worried about because I’m ordering a new exhaust that has black tips.
@@chrisnielsen3992 I got a gloss black lower grille/skid plate and a gloss black grille off of eBay to put on my 22 White Frost Tricoat Denali. Also swapped out to red tow/recovery hooks. Looks sooo much better.
To get each color separately you have it wired to auxbeam switch? Can you show how you did that? Is it a separate button then for each color or to do both at same time?

How come in the beginning of the video the DRL are flickering? Is it the camera or is that a mod?
Its the camera. At all frame rates 24/30/60 or 120 there comes a point where they sync and cause a flicker effect

How did you hook up all of your DRL lights together so that they all change at once through the Switch panel. Looking at doing the same.
Easy peasy. I connected all of the DRL wires to the same switch location. Just be sure to calculate their Amp requirements to help you pick the right switch location

They are a universal design. Take a closer look at some mounting areas on your grill and the measurements of the lights on the website. I think you could find a spot
Will these fit on a Denali grill?
They’ll fit on almost any grill but you’ll want to investigate how and where you want to affix them

Have a close look at where you can fit some. You have 4 options to try and make work: adhesive, back plate, direct mount or cable tie like me. They are universal

Lets suppose i have light that has two colors (amber + white)
Now i connected my amber color to ignition which will be on all the times when the car is on, and the wirr for white light if i connect to a turn on positive button , will the lights will automatically turn white when the white wire gets power or it will light up both amber and white same time or will short circuit?
I have same marker lights from bright source
@MohammadHarisMania the white and amber with both illuminate at the same time. One color will not override the other. You’ll end up with a yellowish color. No harm will come to the lights if you do that either.

Hey don, is your truck DRLs turn off when the headlights are on?
My DRL's stay on with the headlights. I leave the switch in the auto position.
Did you receive the recall/ program regarding DRLs? It will turn off the drl’s when the headlights are on. Thanks
I don't fully understand how you can have different colors.
What I'm gonna do is something like this.
1. LED marker lights in my grill similar to your. Amber color to match running / parking lights
2.blinker compleat REHAB.
I don't know where or what I'm gonna do but it's coming. I'm more of a modest kind of person.
I replace my headlights. I replaced my back up lights.
I need to do my inside lights as well. And last , under seat accent lights. At night I caint see dick anywhere in side my truck.
Each light houses two sets of LEDs. White and Amber. Some people may only want one color, but there is a 2nd color available if hooked up. If both are being turned on at the same time, then you get a muted orange color from the two colors blending
These won't work for a honda passport trailsport because of the grille and tech used inside of it jistcame froma truck accessories store and got the unfortunate news!!!!
🤔 I don’t know enough about that specific vehicle, but I looked at some feeds in the Honda Passport forums and many have grill lights. Tapped into various circuits or on separate switches.
