Cow parade - I see them all the time here in NY - but they are always always broken! Twice I have gotten hooked and picked them up really cheap only to get home and find chips I missed. Check them super carefully. I think they are made of some really cheap material. We have also had horses like that here on Long Island and Statue of Liberties for when the Yankees held the All Star game. I know Anaheim had Mickey's for when they hosted it. A lot of different cities do events like that. Where they start with one blank and artists paint them and they get displayed. Here on Long Island we once even had a bra decorating one for breast cancer - they got some real famous people to design and make bras. But watch out with them. I also had two Statue of Liberty ones - both of them got chipped during dusting.
Sonny you are such a kind soul and pleasant to watch. You show that you are easy to get along with by sharing! People like you are the gems. Although my goodness help yourself to sleep better may be melatonin ,sleepy tea or chamomile tea. Take care!

I live near Kansas City, Missouri and saw many of the real cows in person that were showcased around the city! They were so popular that they made a line of figurines based off them!! My favorite one I saw was the one dressed like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz!!

I picked up some jewelry at a resent estate sale that had men’s items and that made me wonder what other men’s jewelry items are out there? So now, I have more on my list to hunt down and learn about 😊
Lived in Vegas as an adult since 1968. Broadacres was first a trailer park. It has been a Swap Meet since at least 1977/78... At first it was small. Used to be able to get in for a quarter and there very were few "booths" ... all open air. Hope to see around one day. I source at Opportunity Village, GW and once in a while I go to Savers. But for me the yard sales near Summerlin South to Charleston are the best places to source. Keep it up. You are doing a good job
I love hearing about the beginning times of people and places and how it is now. I’m looking forward to estate sales this year! I haven’t been to much, but that will change.
Wow. I wish our flea market was this good. I must say I was stunned at how rude that man was, “I’m a Sir.” Respect should be earned. You were kind to speak to them at all. Sorry you were met with rudeness in return. Living in AZ I so understand the heat when out this time of year.

I just love flea market days I'll be going to my local flea market tomorrow morning. Other than my wife I find it hard to shop with other people at the flea market. I have a certain pace that I like to go at plus I'm usually super focused. I'm told I'm not that fun when I'm in that mode but I think I'm having fun

@theagingbeginnger5 I have the same problem as you I have so much inventory, but my nerves will not let me get started. I have a small booth at an antique shop in my small little town. I just got word today that they are closing up. So this is going to push me forward to start selling online. I don’t have Internet at my house so I’m gonna take the money I’m spending on my booth and pay for Internet at my house and start selling online. Good luck to you just do it. That’s what everybody’s been telling me as well. We’re gonna make mistakes. Everybody does, but just move forward through all the mistakes, and eventually will be pros like the rest of them. The resale family is always there to help you. All of them have gave me great advice just like Tiffany and Sonny is telling you right now great advice. And there’s a lot more out here to give you great advice as well and willing to give it and help you. You can do it I promise you.

The silver box with the blue lid is a porcelain shard box, they were made in China and can sell really well depending on what's on the shard. I have one that is a bit smaller, but has a bird on the shard. 😊

The room calls guys were always hustling from the Villas to the towers. I still talk with my current coworkers about The Wynn‘s basement "highway"! Remember that? Lol.
