Honestly, and I'm not being patronizing here, but you guys are good enough with your video production at this point to have your own series on Netflix. Won't be the least bit surprised to see you listed on there in the future. ;)

I don't know if their aspirations should be as low as Netflix. Personally, I think they are much better off being an independent entity. Corporate media has a way of promoting mediocrity. And promote elite ideology. (speaking of Netflix, I liked them best when they were a mail DVD rental company. I got so exciting when the mailman would come up and I'd hastily put my DVDs back in their sleeves and try to catch the mailman before he/she got back in their little jeep....

My late aunt; Judith Byfield (6th September 1951 - 20th May 1989) played the part of Angela Clifford in Time-Flight which was the seventh and final serial of the 19th season.
It broadcast from the 22nd to 30th March 1982.
Whilst Time Flight isn’t the best serial, I feel immensely proud to have a family connection to the franchise.
She also appeared in BBCs Bergerac (1981) & also Wuthering Heights (1978).
Also, her husband appeared in the BBC Radio adaptation of The Lord of The Rings. He played the Black Rider who utters the line ‘Shire. Baggins’ as well as playing Beregond. Last year I spoke with Brian Sibley about this & he recalled working with my uncle.

    • @davidanderson1639
      @davidanderson1639 24 дня назад +2

@@baylorsailor thank you!! I think because Time-Flight wasn’t the mostly highly regarded serial; not helped by some janky effects, it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. On the upside, my aunt did get to film on Concorde; albeit when it wasn’t in flight.
Fun Fact: My mum still has the British Airways scarf my aunt wears throughout the serial.

Yay, back with us in the UK. It does look very much like the Tardis. I love how people were content with a small, modest memorial when they passed into the great beyond - just 100 tons of marble and a shed load of hand carved granite will do me, nothing fancy, is what they said! And I'm glad, because we have that beauty to look at now.

I love the Tardis as locals call it but unfortunately it’s not a time machine just a crypt that houses the bodies of a local wealthy family. It’s was open a few years ago when vandals or thieves tried to break in and stripped the outside of I think copper decals and decoration. Great video and enjoy ya time in London

You're BACK! How delightful! So happy to see Brompton: heard that it gave Highgate competition in the moody picturesque, and it does just that! 😱😱Incredible statuary. There is one statue in a London cemetery that mesmerized me when I saw it in 2013: a young Italian woman from the 19th century had passed before her time. Those she loved erected a statue of her atop her burial plot. Life size, she is so lifelike--her eyes are closed, but you feel as if she could open them at any moment, and look directly at you. Uncanny, moving, and 'crazy-cool', indeed. 🎃🎃

If you are in England have a look at the Tower House in Kensington owned by Jimmy Page. Interesting building with an interesting history. If you knock on the door and ask nicely he might let you in and show you around... The house next door used to be owned by Death Wish director Michael Winner but now belongs to annoying pop singer Robbie Williams who is always arguing with Page.

Love the secret garden! That part of the cemetery is beautiful, peaceful! Gives off a since of scary, but yet safety! I love trees like that covers so much area! Reminds me of a time visiting southern Mississippi! I would like going to New Orleans and see the trees and the cemeteries! Our southern states have such beauty I could walk around it for hours looking! Thank you for the tour in England that cemetery is absolutely colossal!!!

BEAUTIFUL cemetery! No wonder they filmed the Sherlock Holmes scenes there. (A fantastic movie, by the way---RDJ nailed the character!) I enjoyed the inference to the TARDIS, as well. (Another favorite of mine with a very long history.) I wish I could travel to the places you two have seen, but at least I'm able to see it through the eyes of true AFFICIANADOS such as yourselves. Thank you so VERY much!

That is so unbelievably crazy that looks EXACTLY like the Tardis omgggggg so so sad you’re not able to get in to see it but I get why not. Totally knocking and seeing if someone knocks back….from the future?! Maybeeeee and it really looks like a sun dial on top or even the moon and the moon phases around it also what it reminded me of, it looks so beautiful though! The history (or future of it lol) this was so cool! These cemeteries getting more and more detailed like someone really took their time on the stone work and the stones, beautiful to see! Thank you both for this beautiful, amazing, and possibly futuristic adventure! Safe travels through London and excited for Dr Who premiere! Enjoy watching it in Sheffield! 👻💚🦇

Michael... While you are in London, head over to Earl's Court tube station. Outside is the last remaining "Police Box" in London... a real TARDIS. And as an interesting aside, when I joined the Metropolitan Police in 1987 we were given a key on our whistle chain and that key opens the police box. I still have that key, whistle and chain. 😁

That really is a pleasant cemetery. Each one that you guys visit has its own personal touch. The ending shot with all the flowers everywhere reminds me of cherry blossoms.

If you are in London, you really should check out Abney Park Cemetry in Stoke Newington/Hackney. Wonderful Victorian, totally overgrown, with Egyptian style entry gates. Lots to see in Abney Park...
