Great walkthrough Jason!.
Seeing Gordon West was so cool.
Stay awesome!
I made your video! 2:50, I’m on the right in a light Field Day tee. My first ‘Vention was an awesome experience!
Hamvention reminds me that there are MANY hams.
Really nice walkthrough!
Thanks Jason!
Hello Brent, VY2HF at the RAC display at 15:01. Wish I was there!! VY2BG. Well done video!!
Well done......now I've had the experience too.
Thanks for bringing us along. I am unable to go this year due to schedule and I picked up a nasty sinus infection coming back to Texas from Florida. One of these years I will get there. Thanks again.
Hope you're feeling better. I'm in Florida and caught sinus infection about a week ago and feel like crud. Cheers from North Palm Beach
Jason, this is by FAR the best video I have seen from all the youtuber guys videos!!! No self promotion like some of the other guys and I saw more of who is there than any other! Fantastic Job! Please interview Hans from QRP Labs. I am a big fan and have built and use many of his products! Thank You!! Mike N5AQM and thanks for your BAP videos
! That is what runs my shack,,, 73!
Yes! This was the BEST video. Well done
Best walkthrough yet…. Sorry to not see the other buildings! Thanks!
Hey Jason, awesome meeting you at Hamvention! This is Mike from Arizona, ND7E. Hope you enjoyed your time there!
Thanks for making this video! It is pretty awesome to see what I am missing out on. Next year I will be there!
Great video. Thank you. I am at the show for the first time and it’s awesome. Your video pointed out some vendors that I missed. I’ll make sue to visit them tomorrow.
Nice job Jason ... Glad I got to meet you at the...
Thanks for the sticker!
25:49 - The guy on the scene is Farhan, VU2ESE, the man behind HF Signals, ubitx, Bitx... perhaps the only one from VU Land this year...
Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the video. think about Hamvention each year, will be back one day!
That looks like quite the experience!
The only thing louder than \o/ is Gordo's shirt. 😀 Love his books. Great resource!
HEY \o/
nice job
Thanks for the walk through. Y’all enjoy Hamvention. Mrs & me are heading to the mountains for some SOTA time. 73
Jason - here's the video of our SOTA adventure. A group of us activated all of the tallest points in each of the Southeastern states. We were on Sassafras Mtn, SC. Also had folks on Mt. Mitchell, Clingman's Dome, Brasstown Bald, and Cheaha - ruclips.net/video/3z8_gPokUbo/видео.html
Nice job
That was pretty cool!
Really great video pro quality!!!! Thank a lot really enjoyed hamvention new ham very first time here thanks for a great video de Matthew Kn4vlt from North Carolina 73
Congratulations Mathew and welcome to Amateur Radio! Kelly/WB6AAJ/San Jose, CA . First licensed in 1973.
😃That's me at the W5KUB booth. 14:05 I had a recent QSO with Tom and was thanking him for returning a QSL card. I didn't even know you were behind me.
Thanks! Please do a walkthrough of the glee market. Really wanted to be there this year but family emergency took priority.
The last Hamvention I attended was 2000. A company I worked for was Radio Shack.
BTW they are online.
I veleive I walked about 20 .Iles while I was there.
I had my own table selling new parts and N male right angle.
I miss not doing the hamfests.
Gas back then was low. Now a days I need a scooter to get around.
De KB2KLE.
I was there for a couple hours on Friday around noon and I actually saw more on this video than I did in person, simply because there were SO MANY PEOPLE by the time I got there. It was literally gridlock in most of the buildings. I sure wish they would do this somewhere where there is more space.
Good video!
It got crazy busy both Friday and Saturday. Sunday was much more laid back and not nearly as many people.
Good job, thanks from the 2023 Hamvention Media Chair
Thanks James! Looking forward to Hamvention 2023 :-)
can u do a slow walk about in the tail gate flea market area before the day is out.we wanna see a good video for posterity on that too..i am downloading a bunch of neet files from here for a invalid who used to go to dayton..thanks
You made my day, I had a total knee replacement on May 11th and wouldn’t you know I had complications so didn’t feel like getting the scooter out and attending even though I live about 10 miles from the fairgrounds. Thank you. Jim NX9U
Thanks for watching. Glad I could do the walk through and save your new knee a few miles. Hope you get better soon.
there should be cams set up around the property now in this day and age so viewers can watch them like others around the world...
many tnx from uk
Welcome!!
If you were going to go to one….would you go to Dayton or hamcation? Thank you KJ7LAN
Great video, thanks. I didn't see Buddipole, were they not there? I was hoping to see their rotating mast.
Buddipole was there. Somehow I overlooked their isle 😳
@@KM4ACK thanks for the reply Jason.
i missed the show this year will return next year.
Great video, wish I was there, but time for me not to increase my amount Ham gear. Will look for your video in the tail gating. That was my major reason for going to Dayton. The video shows Ham Radio is alive and active, all the products shows Ham Radio has a big market meaning there are a lot of active Hams.
Any CB equipment or is just purely HF
Thanks for the video. I have not been to Hamvention since Hara. It has gone downhill quite a bit since then.
Hope you were well afterwards? I know alot of people that got sick after attending. Turned into a super spreader
No problems here. I did hear of a few that were sick afterwards but nothing serious that I know of personally.
Any bargains
No Buddipole booth ...???
Buddipole was there. Somehow I overlooked their isle 😳
Great video. Didn’t get nauseous watching. I will say I’m glad I didn’t go there.
This video confirms my contention that the Amateur Radio Community is made up largely by "Old White Guys" (like myself)...
DX Engineering & Summit Racing Equipment - a very bad place to go if you love muscle cars AND Ham Radio. Don't ask me how I know...
All gray beards
No Jenny Craig stand...
talk about a dinosaur fest. I was listening to the ham radio and I easedropped on a conversation on how to the hobby was dying due to cellphone companies wanting to buy up the spectrum. It probably doesn't help that there's not too many young people involved in the hobby.
Why everyone is overweight and looking unhealthy?
geriatric convention
Thank you for the walk-a-about at Hamvention, Great work. You get an (A) grade! California. KN6BZG
Thanks for the tour. Kelly/WB6AAJ/San Jose, CA
Hi Jason. Thanks for coming out to Hamvention. I have a question about raspberry pi after viewing one of your videos. But I neet your email. If you're willing to send me an email so I can ask my question, I'd appreciate it. Thanks Pat AE8F. I'm good on QRZ. Thanks.
Great video - thank you. de KG9H
